No, I don't mind the p180. I pick on it just for the gags. I removed the p180 video long ago because I decided I didn't like it. I will make a new one one day. Also, P180 isn't actually a canard. Thanks for watching.
Elevator is on the tail. The forplane has flaps but no primary control surfaces. That's what makes it not a canard. the flaps sequence down at intervals with the main wing flaps and there are indicators for forward, inboard, and outboard flaps
I am an aircraft maintenance technician and work mainly on King Air 90's, B, C and GTx! They are a charm to work with, and the difference between the generations are notable! Love them King Airs!
I have so many questions but I'll keep it brief. Which is the easiest to work on? Which versions have the least issues? Have most owners modernized the cockpits?
I Love your videos. Can you do a video on the Maule planes. It seems like these models have been very popular planes over the years. For the price and useful load they seem like quite a bargain with a very committed ownership community.
sounds like the kinda thing that would happen at the aerodrome i worked at, one guy managed to prop strike his mooney because he forgot to take his towbar off
@@Harryw007 the really absurd thing is it actually had landed with its tow bar attached. This was the second time they took off with it. But this time a line service guy noticed and called them on the radio.
@@Fred-rv2tu wow thats insane, youd hope if you get to the point of being able to pilot a king air youd be able to do a proper walkaround preflight! if theyre missing something as obvious a towbar, its kinda scary to think: what else could they miss?
@@Harryw007 we’ll it’s an important reminder that it could happen to any of us. Apparently they did their preflight in the hangar pulled it out and then didn’t do a final walk around and there was enough room in the wheel well they still got three greens. When I was doing helicopter firefighting though a lot of the old timers didn’t even do preflights because they were too old/sore/fat/lazy to climb on top of Huey and check the rotor head. Always boggled the mind they just trusted the mechanics daily. I guess that’s what airlines do but in the helicopter world your expected to do your own preflight regardless.
Oooh, King airs, yummy 😊. I flew a 200 back in the day, loved it. Did a couple of flights in a 90 much fun😀. When I win (big) on the lottery one of these would make my shortlist 🤣👋🇬🇧
He has a video bashing the Piaggio. Personally I’m glad something that crazy can exist. I feel the same way about it as I do Lamborghini I wouldn’t own one even if I had the money. But the world would be a little sadder without them.
Hey could you make a video on the Yak-52? Your videos are awesome and I think it could potentially be an interesting plane to look at considering their always seem to be some availability of them
The Piaggio doesn't have a canard. It is just a foreplane. It has flaps but no flight surfaces. All three surface are lifting surfaces so drag is reduced and it is faster and roomier than the King Air.
I don’t know why, but I do find the variant with the small flat thingy moved to the top of the straight up thingy a bit more sexy. If Beechcraft had been saucy enough to move the bigger flat thingies a few feet higher off the ground for even more sexiness, I wouldn’t have a small scar from walking into the back of one of their unsexily low wing trailing edges whilst I was distracted.

I hope the P180 video comes out soon.
But why it is not a canard ? The elevator is on the nose if i don't mix up the front and the rear...🤔

@@jhk8513 the front one is another wing, it's fixed and has flaps, canards are mobile
If the Avanti was a person, he'd be one of the Zoolander models.

the GTx is one of my favorite aircraft ever.
Thanks to you i'm not buying a king air, unfortunately, but i am much more at ease with the different versions. And there are MANY...😮
Almost as many versions as piper single engines 😅
That thingy description was straight-up amazing!
I know single-engine turboprops are faster and better in many ways but there is something cool about having two turboprops strapped to a plane.
Got a hearty laugh from me with the winglet animation, well done 😂
"We fly our own damn planes."
Gawdayum right we do!
I used to fly a fleet of King Airs. The F90! What a roll rate. I’ll leave it at that…
I like the style of charts wpfor when there is multiple variants. Keep up the good work.

Watched one takeoff with its tow bar still on the other day.

Would like to get one with Garmin glass screens Blackhawk upgrades with 5 blade props with the full 850 on the engines
i love these longer form videos
Basically if your To rich for a cessna but not rich enough for a citation this is the go
Was that Piaggio hate I sensed?

Beech said Eff it. (F model) Omg I can't stop laughing. Brilliant as always.
I missed that! Lol!
Great video, wonder if he will do one on the DC-3

No idea if you've thought about it already, but how about a Beech 18 or a DC-3?
Why have you deleted the Piaggio P-180 Video😢😢😢😢
He deleted it weeks ago
id really like to buy one of these someday
Can you make a video on the Cessna citation?
I too would like to see the smaller Citations give the Complete walk around treatment. They are single pilot so I believe they qualify.
@@morbulus340 I hope he sees this
I see ALL
Great informative concise video.
Even Made me laugh a few times !
Beautiful bird one of my favorites ‼️
King air prices about to drop cause of wheels up goin wheels up
I'll take 2 please
Cool video!
They went down the ole Rambo/Rocky routine with their model naming convention
Aero Commander 500 pleaseeeeeee
Piper Cheyenne or Cessna conquest 2 similar price but in both cases significantly better performance
"THANKS FOR WATCHING AND SEE YOU IN THE NEXT" Can I get that on a coffee cup along with your drawing of a PC12?
Man you really don't like the piaggio P-180 do you!?
The Piaggio doesn’t have a canard. It’s a forward wing. It doesn’t provide any pitch control, only flaps that actuate with the rear wing flaps.
Ah... I was talking about a different Italian canard :) 😊
King Air C90A or B here
Brilliant.
Love watching these videos like i have more than $5.00usd in my damn bank account! Hahahaha
you reaaally don't like p-180s uh?
edit: were is the p-180 video?
Lots of speed, lots of luggage, lots of pressurization, and no type rating. Wins all around
The winglets 😂
id get one nextant spruced up if i were in such a position.

Sick Piaggio diss 🔥
Why did you remove your Piaggio video?
You buy a king air if you hate your mechanic.
