Going to try it my 1992 corolla clutch has been slipping for awhile was thinking about giving it to the shop but now I think I can do it great job rich
Yes i have done it , very easy to do it was a 92 toyota 4door with a 4cyl engine 5 speed trans, had all the room on the driver side to do the work . The only problem i had was at my old age my back was killing me to bend over the fenders.
I am agreeing with LCCharlie, here --be nice to your Dad. Mine passed when I was 12 and I still miss him. I am 61. Anyhow, before I start a major tearfest, keep up the vids. I paid $1200 for the same clutch job you are performing as I felt it was outside my capability. Hell, you do it in a garage on ramps, so next clutch job I am trying myself.
I always thread my bolts back into their holes after taking the parts off. That way I never loose any, it takes extra time, but I've never had extra pieces left over.
Your making it look easy :-) And some of those bolts just hand tight, amazing ha ha :-))) Ive tryed to work in gloves and they drive me mad, sorry madder lol, but i would imagine if its a ccccold day then your digits would be warmer :-)) Ive worked outside and there is nothing worse than assembling something as the night creaps in, it gets dam cold quick and the fingers just dont work so well :-(( Smashing vid richpin, im sure there are people learning from your tutorials :-))
Awesome video! I love your videos, but to be honest I was getting tired of all the "removal" videos you have been doing lately. it is much more interesting to see actual, full repairs. Not trying to knock you or anything, just giving some criticism. Keep up the good work!

Sweet lord. This is why I'd rather drive my RWD cars.
I grew up with rear wheel drive vehicles and loved them.
