Well that’s great that someone can explain what happened in the past. When will the usda ever be held accountable for this type of manipulation

Similar thing tonight on legacy news report showed US is short over 400000 construction workers. Highly unlikely since unsold new homes are higher than the last 6 years.

👍Great comentary.👍USDA is similar to the BLS, who doesn't include the homeless in its unemployment data -- but how much more chronically jobless can a guy possibly be than sleeping on the streets!

Looks like usda and grain monopolies are in cahoots. Thay could've had accurate report out before we all had to sell in dec and and couple days later a big OOPS, Proves 1st sentence.

They're government employees, regardless of what numbers they come up there no consequences to them personally right or wrong so why try to do better?

My question is for 2025 what should trend be? Will they put in another record yield right out of the gate? If acres increase in corn is that even likely given additional acres( corn on corn, marginal ground) are likely lower yielding anyways.

Of course they’ll start out with record or near record yields. That’s what they do… unfortunately.

Yeah corn having birthdays in elevators has nothing to do with it.

Also you mentioned yourself why prices went down in Aug. We seem to just disregard Aug weather. Normal weather completely changes yield prospects. So yes the Aug price action was justified. The market trades more than USDA reports.

So David do you not think price makes a difference? And you even mentioned yourself about tariffs. The marketing year isn’t over.
