Millwall 99 I was there that day and millwall got seriously battered outside the ground that day
We were 900 strong by 9 am didn’t know what hit um ✊🏻
Took some bottle for millwall to come under the grandstand an boot the doors open,unfortunately for them they couldn’t have bumped into a worse crew that day

Was waiting to go into the grandstand and 2 Wall tried to get in they would have got killed if it wasn’t for steward
Seen the video it would have been an embarrassment if Cardiff hadn't done Millwall under that stand must have been a thousand on to 20/30 wall that got out so wall get my respect here

this fella speaks the most sense I've heard by a hoolie in years. I was in Cardiff for the Millwall match when we ( United) won in 04. We had a v good turnout that day. Boro got the better of us in 97 at OT- these things happen. just like swansea never really looked for it in Cardiff, not many came looking for it in Salford back in the day. As JE says though, the odd loss is important, it gets rid of the hangers on which always latch on to big mobs like United & Cardiff, a bit of a kicking gets rid of the deadwood. 40 Wigan caught a few of us out on a non match day once & it served the purpose of removing the deadwood that was attaching itself at the time. PS it's a miracle to hear anyone give United any credit so fair play.
Always remember the 70.s when man utd came down they built the fence on the grange end separating us from the bob bank was amazing could tell you some crazy storys even when chelsea tryed to take the grange end them days were crazy totenam had a huge hard crew could tell you bigger storys than you could imagine let me tell you and millwal O.M.G .

Went with Leeds for the FAcup match in early 00s and have to say the atmosphere was intimidating, electric proper old school ground Ninian.... didn't see any trouble as we lost and Cardiff were in dreamland but things would have been different no doubt if we'd have won

Many a great day/night in Cardiff , love the South Africa bar in the centre , seen them a few times in Wigan , peaceful the last time as they brought a firm into the centre , had a good drink with them ...despite a young one trying to pick pocket one of ours ,,,great days

I went to Cardiff back in 77 78 and we got the best of them but years back they had one off the best firms going top firm
There was 30 from Port Talbot and some from Cardiff, who got chased into the sea by 40 jacks.They had been bringing it all day, and copped it against a decent Jack mob

I was present with some Newport lads( who were Millwall fans) first game of the season 1999..3 pm KO....what were they thinking...some Mayors parade so Old Bill stretched to say the least. Wall had a good turn out, very game but Cardiff were out in full force....so respect both ways....you don’t get many days like theses ever. Full on from start to finish with helicopter landing in the park on the way to the ground lol.....a massive cast iron drain being lobbed over between both sets....could have seriously hurt someone if it had connected.....I remember getting the gates open after the game with and Cardiff literally frothing at the mouth..hahaha...crazy day.
Top class podcast and a good honest account from a genuine top lad .Met Cardiff a few times with bwfc and I have always rated them and probably one of the top firms of all time when hooliganism was at the forefront.

Used to go over the Den years back and Cardiff would turn up year after year without fail and year after year, they'd fail to make it past The Railway Tavern. Went there once with Millwall and it was like Zulu - fighting all the way back to the station. There were thousands of them. Cardiff were game and that was all that mattered.

I remember going away with Walsall to Wrexham 2007ish I think and a Walsall fan decided to burn a Welsh flag in the town centre, absolute carnage man good firm.
I also remember Walsall having a go with Cardiff at the bezla 2004/5ish I think, never forget it I remember this big guy look like a maori with no front teeth came charging out and just jumped into the walsall lot and again carnage that day.

I was at that Welsh cup final game. I’m sure it was Wrexham against Hereford. I went with my brother and old man. It kicked off on Westgate Street. Loads of Cardiff inside the Arms park.

The fa cup game was when Cardiff ran Swansea to the Queens after coming up the kingsway . Plenty of the jacks main lads were on their toes there , although they still say they were on their way to Mumbles for an hour 😂

I went up from Neath a 125 I aint sure if it was your special as it was rammed with Cardiff, I seen a few PVM lads and kept my head down, they came off the train and steamed straight in the Pullman. I remember it going off in the South Stand too as you lot were in that end, the OB took you on double decker's up the Kingsway after the game and it was rush hour, fucking madness never seen anything like that. Fair play you where good that day, hard to say but I dont think anyone could have lived with you. The Old mans Cardiff and told me they made a flag in the Viv in PT with Viv Lunatics on it and the spray stuck to the floor and the barmaid wanted to have it with them, crazy day.
The year before I was still in School and we had Birmingham home a few lads approached me outside the Jack and puled a blade , I got told you mobbed up with them that day not sure if it true. Kind of in the blood then when you get that Adrenalin. Great days.

I read another book about the soul crew it came out in the mid noughties the lad that wrote was quite open about using tools mainly Stanley knives, can't remember the name of it but it was a good read, he pretty much admitted he wasn't into football at all and was only into the violence and the clothes

I was a young kid in Milan and it was mental out there, in the ground was crazy I’ve been to a lot of games all over the place and that day in Milan was the most intimidating atmosphere, and the police deffo got run out of the stands, was nightmare with the Italians above us throwing all sorts, bottles, squashed and sharpened beer cans and the worst of all bottles of piss, it wasn’t good seeing the welsh fans fight each other tho that baffles me when it’s and international game in a foreign country should stick together at that point

talking about Swansea,Beening a Llanrumey boy and loving my clubbing in the 90s,I used to go to Emporium and the hippo but also used to go to Marthas swansea,after 3 0r 4 years going there and knowing everybody and they all knew i was a Cardiff trendy from the 80s and followed 5 yrs in the 90s,never had a problem but one Friday at a Ticktock night,I went through hrs of hell, Off my nut,i was subject to so much abuse and told you leave Swansea now or we will cut you up and never return by a main boy at swansea called Niel a skinhead from back in the day.I thought my time was up,loads of boys from Cardiff in there plus a few Jack clubbers lol ,said dont worry we got you back,I thought fuck it ,Ok i shouted,Off my nut on E, ill take you all on Cardiff till i die,Outside now was held back by friends and bouncers but that might of saved my life.I found out the where all off there head on acid lol and 1 was carrying a Blade lol.
