Until recent times most re-mixes of Kate's work were not all that well done, and I was of the opinion as you state yourself, it was sacrilege to attempt do so. However, more recently better re-mixes seem to be emerging, this being one of the best. Thank you, well done. Not a sacrilege, an homage.

This should be called the edge of 17 remix aka Stevie Nicks . This song is incredible on the album but this remix did an excellent job great work!!It so wonderful to have the slow and fast version of one of the most beautiful songs she is so under rated here.
