Just got to that question and was coming to make a comment about. Totally eerie that this question was asked presumably right before Bray died and WWE in turn did a tribute show for him.
Bruce reminds me so much of my late Grandfather Earl. I could sit for hours and listen to his stories. Same with Bruce. Just one hell of a story teller.
They NEVER had those WWF ice cream bars at our Vancouver BC Canada WWF House Shows, I always wanted to try one, WWF merchandise table wasn't the best as i went to every WWF House Show from 1989-2000, Its like it was leftovers and aside from the Program with match card we never had the selection the USA fans got. I still bought what i could. It was great to see WWF 3/4 times a year in my first few year's going to live events.
As much as I would love to see a book from Bruce, I'd also equally love to see a book from Conrad, or some kind of resource that lays out how he got his podcast conglomerate going, how he built it up, and how in the world you keep all this stuff organized, brotherrrrr.
The only way I would give a flying fuck about Conrad writing a book is if it was a reason for him to take time off of doing the show so I don't have to listen to his shitty hosting anymore. He is the absolute worst part of these podcasts and if it wasn't for the fact that I really want to hear from the people that actually matter I wouldn't have anything to do with anything that he does. He's not pleasant to listen to he's opinionated despite the fact that he's done nothing in the wrestling world besides be a money Mark for these podcasts with the people that we actually care about, and he thinks that while he sat on his couch stuffing his face with soda and food and getting obese that all of a sudden he knows what should have been done in this situation or that situation. I wouldn't use his book to wipe my ass
Hard to believe that Bruce & Conrad start this podcast in 2017, and it's been 6 years now. The very first Conrad Wrestling podcast. Time really flys by.
I wanted Bruce to elaborate on why Vince thought he ruined Goldberg's career. Bill even admits he was hard to work with because he didn't trust anyone and I think a lot of people were responsible for his first run not living up to the potential (i.e having Goldberg lose in the Elimination Chamber). Curious about Bruce's role.
Bray was a one of a kind talent. I noticed Bruce personally agented/produced a lot of his stuff for his Fiend gimmick. And before you try to sidestep by blaming the fans for knowing stuff on Meltzer, remember there was a doc WWE put out on it. My question: is that why he quit/left for mental health? How stifling creatively was the atmosphere there for such a creatively rich mind like Bray? He left you guys a few times around then. Seems like he hated the 'creative' environment wwe had cultivated.
bruce we all love you man,and are 100 percent behind you on your opinion on the dark side of the ring, and the likes of meltzer, they get to have their opinions on all things wrestling then so do you,,
I don't care for how they did Conrad who helped them build their audience. Also it was something to wrestle that sparked DSOTR. Doesn't change what Flair did but imo it was blown way out of proportion given it was settled 20 years ago
@@dakliq420 I agree that the Bash at the Beach show was one-sided but I'm sure they reached out to Hogan but couldn't afford to get him to talk on camera to give his side and had to resort to clips from previous interviews. All they had was Bischoff.
