She is too afraid to do highnotes so she throws herself into falsetto everytime there is one, shes afraid shell damage her voice and lose everything she has. We have to keep in mind she is basically still a kid and she’s bound to have alot of fears and insecurities, I hope her confidence gets better :(

I think her voice standout compare to the other girls whenever they performing so she tone it down (voice) a little to blend into the other girls voices. However, I believe she is destine to be a solo artist after all the struggles and heartaches that she endure in the past.

I LOVE Somi for her personality and cuteness. Though I do not think she is cut out to be a solo artist. She should have stayed with JYP and debuted with ITZY. She just looks and sounds .... sub-par. it's because of the choreography. remember when she was still in produce and they're not allowed to lipsync but she always nail her parts really well. remember yum yum but that was obviously easier than now given she's singing a trap pop all by herself with such choreography. i dont have any bias when it comes to evaluating and i would still say somi is extremely talented but she's simply not a machine or robot.
somi is still really young, so young that i don't think she should've debuted solo just yet. so i'm looking forward to her improvements in the future!! one thing i wish she did was sing the more "important" parts instead of the less important lines, tho i hope she becomes more confident and better at singing and becomes successful with her solo career.

I’m a singer and dancer. I have a low voice like somi maybe a bit lower and I tried singing to this whole song while dancing to the whole choreography and it is NOT easy. Yes she is way more experienced than I am but still it’s not easy at all. Yes some other idols sound way more stable than her but she did a decent job. Proud of her❤️

I LOVE Somi for her personality and cuteness. Though I do not think she is cut out to be a solo artist. She should have stayed with JYP and debuted with ITZY. She just looks and sounds .... sub-par. Not that I dislike her or the song at all. It just does not have the same effect as other solo Idols in my opinion. She needs a larger than life stage presence and I just don't see that.

If you hear the audio of the song, she sounds much more like a little girl than her actual real voice. They are making her have a tone of her voice which is not for her....... Trying to sing that way live, must be hard for her.
it's because of the choreography. remember when she was still in produce and they're not allowed to lipsync but she always nail her parts really well. remember yum yum but that was obviously easier than now given she's singing a trap pop all by herself with such choreography. i dont have any bias when it comes to evaluating and i would still say somi is extremely talented but she's simply not a machine or robot.

She did so well, I don't understand how some people can't recognize that... The choreo requires a lot of energy and interpretation, while the song is kinda high pitched. She sang the parts when she felt that she had enough breath to do so, and that covers most of the song. Somi slayed!

I’m a singer and dancer. I have a low voice like somi maybe a bit lower and I tried singing to this whole song while dancing to the whole choreography and it is NOT easy. Yes she is way more experienced than I am but still it’s not easy at all. Yes some other idols sound way more stable than her but she did a decent job. Proud of her❤️
