@Sound Matter You should not worry about sliding any 7 inches records. Just do this put 3 of them on a flat surface and look at them sideway. You will notice that the surfaces recorded will not touch. It is because all 45 RPM have been in a way the central label section is thiker than the recording surface. It was ingeneered that way because of the changers as you could put many records on top of each others and when they would play when a record would drop on top another one, the space in between is protecting the other side of your 45 rpm 7 inches. If your mate is hard and of even surface the other side will not touch the surface of the plater.
Thanks. I suppose you’re right based on the labels: good knowledge! I still worry a little in case there’s something more than dust underneath, but then again, the platter should be clean of course, so perhaps not. Happy spinning 🎶🎧
Sorry about that. Forgot to pate it into the description. It's in there now. But here it is for you direct also: reggaeroast.co.uk/collections/accessories/products/trojan-record-adapters

they do look cool and I'm surprised there aren't more options like this...
Look into sureshot adapters. Good price, good quality, and many options
Cool thing! Would be really cool if it was possible to order with a logo of my choosing, favorite band or something like that.
Yea, nice idea. Personalised versions. Happy spinning 🎶🎧
