He did just go to Japan and is probably still trying to mentally bounce back from the placements. Plus, he attended the extreme majority of coinboxes since the quarantine era, so he probably needed a good break

I think Sonic struggles against Corrin because Corrin can swat Sonic away with their big aerials. I also think Sonic can't edgeguard Corrin because their up B is pretty goated. That being said, I don't think Sonic loses because Corrin still has to win neutral, which is hard because Sonic is a fast mfer.

sonix as a player is so fun to watch for me, its because i know how much work and effort he has put into the game, the amount of labbing done just for like 1-2 interactions, its just so insane for me. good run riddles!!

@@M4_thekid probably not. Sonix is a very good player, and even though he may be seen as “the bad guy” right now, he’s genuinely one of the best ultimate players. He spends hours a day training and labbing, and he gets the results. I may not enjoy watching him as much as others, but nobody can deny his skill.

Damn it sucks that Riddles is just as good as Sonix but Sonic is so op and counters both Kazuya and Terry due to them being slow and can’t react fast enough for punishes.
Riddles should def try going Roy. Dancing blade, his disjoints, and his speed make the mu a lot more doable
You can buster wolf Sonic’s roll attack as a counter, it has to be perfectly timed but it’s better than jumping/dodging. Gg riddles.

Sonic side b can be canceled with a jump and it's reverseable, so he dropped ledge, side b'd to the right jump canceled it and back aired

At least Kazuya games are over quick. Sonic being able to choose to engage and disengage... then choosing passivity is just beyond boring.

Everybody in here being super nice with their words. Let’s be honest. Ban sonic. Or don’t make him almost canonically close to his own game. Being able to cancel every move at the fastest speed possible and control air space like that is just gay as fuck. I hated watching that gameplay and if everyone does too sonix shouldn’t be playing to begin with. These coin boxes aren’t just for skill but also to see entertainment. Besides spamming two fucking moves the whole game isn’t skill. Get rid of the player or ban sonic. Maybe even both. Skill should be measured in tactical play not spam. Any other game works that way but this shit ass game where spam is totally encouraged.
Okay, I understand wanting a character banned because of how they function but the player too?😭Cmon now, Sonix is just doing what the sonic is capable of, it ain’t his fault. Get mad at Nintendo for making sonic so boring in ultimate with plenty of games to base a rework off of. Also characters not being close to how they are in their games would be kinda boring imo.
