One other note as general courtesy for everyone else on the road, and effectively your own safety, you may want to aim the headlight assemblies down a bit after converting to LEDs. It's incredibly easy: just pop a 4mm socket on the adjustment rod of each assembly (sticks up from the bottom bracket) and give it a couple turns counter-clockwise. LEDs are inevitably brighter and can make it more difficult for other drivers to see, especially if they're not aimed down at the road.
Does it cause a glare to oncoming traffic? Do you get flashed at? Trying to purchase these but don't want bulbs that'll cause glare to oncoming traffic.

Car Toys no longer installs LED’s. I pulled out the bulb this morning to find replacements. There is no identification as to what bulbs were installed. My has cooling fins as opposed to yours with fans. I clicked on your link for bulbs but it is no longer active. Would you recommend cooling fins or fans? And is there different brightness on LED’s? Would appreciate your feedback, thank you

Little Girl and Panda show my torsion twist is all the way up and feels good. If you want to leave the torsion bolts at stock level. You can, and can always do a body lift. Or a front spindle lift kit.

Purchased the led headlights and when plugged in my bright light indicator comes on and the lights are on bright beam and wont click to low beam. What could be the problem.

@@jamuelthompson7920 what trim level is your sport trac. Does it have factory fog lights. On my sport trac. I dont have that problem. I can switch between high and low beam. To to be honest there isn't that much difference between high and low beam on these LED headlights

Led's are great but there is one issue when you cut them on your radio stations don't come in as clear. or none at all when you get a good distant from the signal.

How were you able to lock the headlight in? My headlight bulb retainer pair isn’t able to go around the built in fan.
Sometime a little bit of heat can help make the plastic pliable

Mmmm. Not sure. I dont use my high beams the LEDs are bright enough.

Yes. But not much of a diffrence. The LED headlights are already super bright.

I bleive the light would still work. Just run the change of it overheating and then burning out shortly afterwards

I’m not sure how you got that knob to fit on the back the led light. I can’t get mine to fit with the wire in the way
Trust me I got it to fit. And is still working to this day.

Ordered these for my 04 sport trac and fogs but the headlights come on normal but when pulling out switch for fogs with regular bulbs or led the lights go to high beam can you help explain.
Can you manually flip the high beam switch on the controls. Trying flipping the high beam switch on and off to see if the high beams turn off

You can try heating up the plastic locking ring with a heatgun. It will motivate the plastic ring a little easier

These led lights are a plug and play..
looks like you need to adjust your headlights up alittle but other than that it looks good
I keep them pointed down. So not to blind oncoming traffic

If you have original headlights more than likely they will crack. I have new headlights so the plastic isn't brittle.
