I’m glad to see that this works. If you don’t hate the existing BB58 bracelet, you could try picking up an extension link from Steel Reef. It gives 5mm of adjustment and it just snaps in and out. No need to replace the bracelet or clasp.
Thanks for the suggestion. I reached out to them, and it looks like they will send one over to check out. I prefer the look and feel of the BB58 bracelet more, so I will be putting it back on my BB58.
I just swapped my BB58 bracelet for a ranger bracelet today and man is it just a world better. I just bought the bracelet but I do want a ranger eventually as well ha-ha
Thanks for making this video. I was thinking of swapping out my Rolex for a NATO strap but seeing how much of a nightmare this was for you, I have absolutely no confidence in doing it myself 😂. Cheers.
Rolex and Tudor bracelets are so good that I don't really see the need to put the watch on an aftermarket strap. The lug slots are very narrow, and the end links have a tight fit, so it is difficult to get the bracelet off, and back on.
It is always a bit challenging and stressful, at least for me, when removing and adding bracelets on expensive watches. I hate it too when I get the sections installed in the wrong position, and once properly installed, I tend to triple check to make sure the spring bars are all the way in the holes ... lol, maybe I'm just paranoid. Appreciate you sharing, Kevin. BTW, I need to buy one of those spring bar pliers. Do you mind sharing the brand of the one that you are using as it looks like a good one? Thank you, and have a great weekend.
I don't think it is a bad thing to double or triple check your work on expensive items like luxury watches. I don't ever plan on messing with the bracelets on my Rolex watches. Tudor is stressful enough. This is the tool that I ordered from esslinger, Horofix Watch Bracelet Spring bar Pliers XL 59.624.
@@WrongTimeWatchYeah, I agree with you, I wouldn't mess with a Rolex either. Thank you very much for sharing the details of the springbar pliers as I need to buy a good one. Thank you, much appreciated. Have a great weekend 👍
One of the things that bothers me on the BB58 bracelet is how long the swing arm is in the clasp. It extends beyond my wrist and looks weird. Is it any shorter on the Ranger bracelet?
I just checked, and they are the exact same length. It is short on my Sinn U50, and it takes a little effort to get it on my wrist as it just barely fits over my hand. That might just be a small wrist problem though.
It should, I believe it is still the same watch case. That bracelet does have t-fit however, so I am not sure why you would want to swap the bracelet out though.
Just swapped my ranger bracelet to my bb58 and it's nice having the glide lock on the bb!
The glide lock is a nice upgrade for sure. I don't know why, but the BB58 bracelet still felt more comfortable for me.
The Ranger bracelet looks good on there.
Thanks, I like it, but it does not seem to be quite as smooth as the BB58 bracelet.

I mainly bought this Ranger for the bracelet, but now that I have my BB58 back on the BB58 bracelet, I am going to sell the Ranger.
I love the faux rivets on my Tudors that have them. That said, I think a ranger bracelet with polished sides would look great on a 58.
I don't really have an opinion on the rivets either way. The BB58 bracelet does feel nicer and more comfortable to me though.

I wonder if this will fit the GMT

@@WrongTimeWatch the red/blue got does not come with a t-fit clasp, hence why I want to switch the bracelet.
@@youvegotgold Ah, OK. I was thinking about this one, www.tudorwatch.com/en/watches/black-bay-58/m7939g1a0nru-0001
I think it looks better on the original. But that's just me
I agree, I will be swapping the bracelet back in the near future.
Agree 💯
