Hear! Hear!
Great interview as usual Matt. Scott is such a great guy... love seeing him again.
Scott is one of the best, always enjoy listening to him. Was good to meet you at ABC last Sat Matt.
Same here!
Really great interview. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Love the Reds cap, too!
Much appreciated!
Super fantastic Matt.

Antietam... I reenacted there in the late 1970s and participated in recreating AP Hill's forced march. Made it to the Potomac and then fell out!
A great interview. Thank you for posting
Glad you enjoyed it!
I never thought of the marching at night with only torch light. 😮
Superb
Thank you! Cheers!
Hartwig is a Reds fan? Damn, I thought I could respect the guy. 😂 🏴☠️
I am a Reds fan. It's okay. We understand. 🤣
@@jacobmasters438 I will give you the Big Red Machine and Elly and Joey Votto but that’s it!
Having grown up in Willow Grove I would have assumed he would have been a Phillies fan! Go Phils!
We are the generation that remembers duck and cover. We appreciate almost being Armageddoned. We appreciate 70 years of mutual geopolitical restraint. Now we are unleashing the gods of war by indulging our freedom to see ourselves as most likely to be among the few who are chosen, if it comes to nuclear Armageddon.
I just saw a old documentary and Scott was in it, one guy on it said that no corn then drought???
Then what did all the soldiers write about as they walked through the cornfield? I’ll ask Scott next time I see him. I’ve never heard that there was a drought but I’m not as well-versed on Antietam
For me Antietam evokes those young guys walking thru high corn where they could see nothing in front of them until they walked straight into a hail of lead..if thats not bravery I don't know what is
They were in a drought during that battle and the corn was dead
Hmm. I read an account of them eating corn. If I recall a civilian noted a trail of corn husks and diarrhea along the road. Nasty stuff lol
