I was an OR nurse. Ask them if they can go get your glasses towards the end of your surgery, so that while you are waking up in recovery, you can see where you are and feel less anxious. Your husband won’t be able to go back to recovery right away, so I try to do little things like that for my patients to make it less stressful. Praying for you. I know you’ll do great! God sent you to the right doctor and will provide a wonderful team to take care of you. God bless ❤️
allienestor04 x thank you so much, you are so sweet. I will definitely do that. Someone said they sometimes put them in a bag and hang it on the iv pole so it’s there for you. Thank you for your kind words, I wish you were my nurse! ❤️
I was diagnosed with Dupuytrens in my left hand after an accident in my driveway. Pain in my hand got worse , it radiated to my neck, shoulders, then numbness and tingling in all my limbs. Neurologist said I had fibromialgia, but that made no sense. MRI did pick up a Perineural cyst in left side of neck, (same as Tarlov Cyst.) All the pain and symptoms are just as described in your video's. Thank you! God is working through you! And all things are possible with God our healing physically and spiritually is in His hands. Blossom in HIM
Jeannie, thinking and praying for you today knowing you had surgery yesterday. As a fellow Tarlov cyster, your openness and love for the Lord has been an inspiration to me as I wait for my surgery date with Dr. F in Dallas. We are in pre-certification mode with appeals anticipated but hope to get approved for surgery soon. I'm so grateful for your willingness to share your journey as it has strengthened me in mine. I truly believe there is a reason test is at the beginning of the word testimony. God is using your testimony mightily!! God bless you Sister!!
I've had you in my prayers and will keep you there. There is z verse, j don't know which one, that says that we go through trials in order to be able to help others, like Christ helps us. I went through a lot of pain with my grandson's custody and then I had a friend who had the same thing and I was able to share verses and experience. I hate that you have to go through this, but what s blessing to already realize that this will strengthen your arsenal as a Pastor's wife. I envy the faith and hope that you have. I know you expressed that you suffer darkness, but I have nothing compared to you and I would be amazed to be 1/10th as faithful and standing on God's promises like you.
Hi I’m so happy you made a video about this topic because I also have tarlov cyst disease I was diagnosed at 16 and had a sacral laminectomy. Stay strong it will get better and I hope you have a great surgery and a speedy recovery 💕
You are such an inspiration to me. I prayed for you today. I will be praying for you more. I love knowing how to pray specifically for you and your family. You are an amazing godly woman. You are so loved. Keep us informed. The good and the bad. The ups and the downs. ❤️🙏🏻
I have been praying for you throughout this illness and will say extra prayers on Good Friday. Every time I listen to you I feel inspired to be a better person, you truly are an amazing woman. I know you will be at the park with your children in the near future! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Your hair looks so pretty in those braids! Thank you for making this video , and really for continuing to make videos at all while going through everything you have been with your health. You inspire me! I'll be praying for you!
I had this surgery May 8th 2018. I was so terrified about going on the wilson table. I cried when I got in the OR room and saw the table and the lights. Its very scary. Like you I need to know all the details and I googled the surgery to see what it looked like. Surgery went well. I had 8 cysts and dr F said my nerves were very flattened. The first month was hard and needed the hard core meds as nerve pain was like crazy. Then my nerves went into shock and sort of stopped, and then woke up hard at 4months. Now am 11 months post op, and its still a battle. I'm still 90% bedbound and its emotionally hard. My kids are now 2 and 6 and its depressing to not be able to do what I want to do wih them. My son wishes i cud run with him in our next door woods and play. I'ed really like to chat with you, you are so positive. You speak so well too. Thanks for the videos and explaning things so well. Tale care.
i am so sorry you are going through this. it is especially hard when you have little ones who want their mama. praying for things to take a turn and for you to get a better quality of life soon!! thank you for your kind words!
I am praying for you and your family. I know that you are 100% in Gods mighty healing hands. I also want to tell you that you have shown me that there were so many things that I took for granted. Things that I found myself complaining about were things that you have been longing for in this season. So I thank God for opening my eyes to that. Can't wait to hear all about that great things God has in store for you.
Dr. Fenigbaum agreed to do my surgery.I feel so blessed but honestly nervous. It took 5 to 6 years to figure out what...why I was in pain and sick all the time. Thank you so much for sharing, it's not as lonely. God Bless y'all.
Praying for you Jeannie and your sweet family. Praying for your doctor and nurses who will be taking care of you. Praying for your surgery and recovery and healing. God is so good and He is so faithful. Thank you for sharing your story with all of us. Sending you lots of love and hugs.
I went under anesthesia for the first time ever this year and I was so nervous about it. It's just as easy as blinking! You literally close your eyes and wake back up. It's not going to feel like 2\3 hours for you.... It will feel like seconds. Just make sure there is water near by when you wake up because your throat will be dry. You will do great❤️
that is a wonderful way of thinking of it, just blinking...i have been thinking of everything just going black and me waiting in silence so that is very reassuring! thank you!
Prayers for your surgery and recovery. It’s so hard as a mom to sit on the sidelines and feel like your missing out - I pray you’re on the path to recovery and able to do all you want to afterwards ☺️
Praying for you Jeannie! I'm dedicating my prayers during Holy Week, to you and your family. I have so much faith, that this is going to bring you better health. I've been struggling with chronic pain for a while now. And endless doctor's appointments...trying to figure out what is wrong. When I watch your videos, you inspire me. To continue on. Just want you to know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. You are such a strong lady. 💜
Keeping you in my prayers! For healing and for keeping away the darkness. You don't have to be positive all the time, but I hate to hear that you have felt such deep depression during this season. Sending you love and lifting your name during this time! I will be thinking of you and praying on Good Friday!
I love a good chatty vid! I love that you're doing these videos with others in mind as well as for yourself, brilliant for people seeking information and knowing other people's struggles helps us have greater empathy ♡ praying for you as you prepare for surgery!
I started watching your channel over the winter and you are just absolutely amazing. I honestly think of you often - that’s the impact you’re having on people. Your grace and your realness in how you handle this is inspiring me to be more content and accepting in my own life and empathetic of others. Thank you! I’ll be praying for you and your family. God bless you!!
Thank you thank you for being so open about all you're going through. It has been such a huge encouragement to me as I am battling chronic illness right now. Praying for you and your sweet family
Thank you for answering my questions. Wow, hearing you explain everything, your concerns, expectations, the way the doctors explained the 2-3 years of recovery with your nerves, sounds alot like my journey. You're going to do great. God's got your back "literally". He's going to be with you through your travels, surgery, and recovery. Take it one day at a time, moment by moment. I pray that your heart will not be troubled.
You can ask the hospital staff to give you your glasses when you wake up. Meeting your anaesthetist can improve your surgery and recovery, you can ask them to hold your hand and talk to you during the surgery.
*hugs*. I’m in tears toward the end, and like you, idk if they’re excited or scared tears and feelings. Both! Praying for you always. The darkness will soon dissipate and only brighter days to come. Wish I could be your post/op nurse so I can bring you everything you need and make your worries go away after. Xoxo
I stumbled upon your video and blessed by it. I understand what you mean about appreciating things in life that you took for granted. I have secondary progressive multiple multiple sclerosis and have had good days and many bad. But as you said God has blessed me with other things and people. Paul said to be thankful for our problems because they are blessings to help others going through the same. You are strong because of your faithfulness God’s love for you. I’ll pray for you and your family. God bless you. ❤️🙏🏻 Rosie
I am praying for you sweet friend! At the end of all the turmoil and worry, just know that you are doing everything you can possibly do to improve your situation. That is all you can do and it is enough. Wishing you and your family future happiness and health. Your positivity and hopeful perspective will be a great strength to pull you through this difficult time. ❤️❤️❤️
God bless you as you go through this. Just think, at this time next month your videos will be all about your successful surgery & how much better you feel. You have a whole wonderful life to look forward to!
Wishing you the best outcome. I think you’re handling this extraordinarily well. Will be thinking of you on Good Friday. The fact that you’re a religious woman, I see no coincidence that your surgery is on Good Friday. A good omen I think.
I hope all goes well for you during and after your surgery. I had a surgery two weeks ago and cannot imagine not being able to go out of the house for a very long time...I didn't think much of it until I was confined to my house...its definitely does get to you after a while! Do the children have grandparents or aunts and uncles on either side? I have two boys and my husband took off of work to care for me...but ended up tending to the boys a lot of the time...it really helped to have my mom as well :)
First off... you look gorgeous!!!! 🙌🏻💕 I wish you the best of luck in this upcoming journey and will continue to pray for you and your family. I suffer with a chronic illness and can relate to so many things you shared. Thank you for being such a positive light in my life.
Jeannie, it was really good to see you. We will be praying each and every day that the surgery does help you a lot. Just know that you will have so many lifting you up to our Heavenly Father and that he will be holding you in his arms. I know a lot about pain and I know that it takes a lot to smile thru it. God knows when we need him most so I know that you will be fine. I'm not saying that you will be well, but God has a plan and every time I think I have it, God shows me that he's not finished. So happy that your family will be with you..I love you all and every time I see you, it reminds me of God's grace. Hold on to that. Some day I will tell you my story. It's a long one that started about 37 yrs ago. Wish I could talk to you in person. Keep hanging on and let all of us love you and raise you up to Jesus. Be blessed, be safe, and keep smiling even when it's not so easy to do, Keep in touch. Much Love
Jeannie, Good Friday will indeed be a Good Friday. I am praying for you to have a successful surgery and recovery. My heart goes out to you and your family. God is good all the time, even when we can’t see His divine plan.
#teamjeannie ❤️ Please know that you are beyond special......in so many ways.....🌸 I’m going to the park this afternoon (for you) and to feel the sun on my face and to say a prayer for you, your family, your doctors, your journey forward, and for many better days ahead. Thank you for continuing to remind us to be grateful!! Thinking of you every day in Las Vegas.....xoxo xoxo 💋🍍☀️🌺
Thank you Jeannie ~ I wore sunscreen!! 👍 My life's journey has included helping my son battle cancer when he was only 8 yrs. old. He survived; and is strong and healthy now!! You're getting there too.....and yes, suffering and joy can live simultaneously.....I'll continue to pray for more joyful days for you!! 😘
That’s so cool about the brain pathways!!! Lots of people ask me if I’m scared cuz we chase our dreams and adventures so often and I’m always like NO I’m so excited. Makes sense now!
Thank you so much for this informative video. I pray that you are healing well. I just found out that I have a Tarlov Cyst also, not sure of the extent, need a Sacral MRI to see if there are more than the one seen on the Lumbar MRI. I will keep you in my prayers for strength and healing for you and your family. God Bless.
Positive thoughts of a beautiful success coming your way and prayerful joy as well for your speedy trip home and non-eventful recovery. You are so inspiring and I hope and pray you have more bright days than dark. Love to you and your family.
Prayers as always!! Thanks for letting us know how we can be more specific in our prayers. Are you taking a babysitter w/ you for the day of the surgery? If not it might be something to consider-Many hospitals only allow two visitors per patient during surgery (no one under 18) and only one person in surgery prep which could leave the kiddos in the waiting room alone. Just a thought from some who a spent a lot of time both in the waiting room n on the table 🙃😉
You are so brave. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I know thats easy to say, but I really mean it. Im going to be praying for more "better days" for you.
I’m terrified about getting tarlov cyst surgery I have two little ones. I got in a accident as well and I’m constantly in pain , I can barely walk and I have a 9 month old and a 3 year old . Are you scared because I am !!
Hello. I just found your channel. I have tarlov cysts as well. In my T11, T12 and S2. I had surgery in Dallas, Tx over 1 year ago and no relief in sight. How are you doing? Where was your surgery? Where are your cysts located? I'm trying to find more help. my pain is everywhere from the waste down and from my back to my front right ribs. Just did my psychological evaluation to get a spinal cord stimulator. Praying you are healing well in Jesus name

I love wacvhing your videos , as I have the same RARE DISEASE & the SAME SIMPTOMS. I was suppose to have surgery 6 years ago & FEAR took over & I cancelled It. Now I'm much worse, and I am revisiting surgery AGAIN. Do I have a CHOICE?? Hope your surgery went well, your young, beautiful & have a lovely family, more of a reason GOD will Bless you & give you the strength to have a slow but SUCCESSFUL SURGERY! Please let all of us who follow you, let us know who you are doing, when you are up to it. GOD BLESS:)
thank you so much. please do not wait too long, from what i know it is best to do surgery before the symptoms become irreversible and do permanent damage. I know it is so hard to know the right thing to do. praying you have a low pain day today!

If I had the cash I'd buy u a motorised mobility scooter a four wheel one because they're more sturdy than a 3 wheel mobility scooter as they are less likely to tip over and no I would not want the money back call it an act of random kindness to give is better than receive I'm not religious myself as it causes way too many stupidity and pathetic wars which there's no need for whatsoever if the world could live in love peace and light to all beings linear and nonlinear that'd be great. best of luck to you sweet young lady. If you don’t have life insurance make sure you get that taken before the genetic testing is back because you or your kids can be denied coverage based on the results. I wish I could come help you with laundry, house work, cooking during your recovery so you and your family can focus on healing
So sorry to hear that, thankfully I had a nurse who warned me before I had a whole load of testing done so I had to get life insurance at 19 so I always try and spread that advice

So happy that your family will be with you..I love you all and every time I see you, it reminds me of God's grace. Hold on to that. Some day I will tell you my story. That’s so cool about the brain pathways!!! Lots of people ask me if I’m scared cuz we chase our dreams and adventures so often and I’m always like NO I’m so excited. Makes sense now!

God always takes care of his children. Will be praying for you .
God Bless.
How are you doing now?
I'm at the beginning of my Tarlov cyst journey.
Positive thoughts of a beautiful success coming your way and prayerful joy as well for your speedy trip home and non-eventful recovery. You are so inspiring and I hope and pray you have more bright days than dark. Love to you and your family.
thank you so very much Dawn, I appreciate it!
Amber Forosisky yes I will have my sister there to take them ❤️

I’m terrified about getting tarlov cyst surgery
I have two little ones.
You have such a beautiful heart. I wish you the best!

I'll say prayer for you I'm more of a philosopher I believe you should treat people how you wish to be treated with love kindness peace patience compassion and loving empathetic care and unconditional love 💖💝✌️👍💝🤗🍀☘️🌼🌻🌹🌺🏵️🌷💐💮🕊️🐙🐙🦀🦐🐡🐠🐟🦋🐞🐝🐳🐬🦉🐦🐥🐤🐣🦅🐿️🐫🐏🐑🐇🐰🐹🐼🐨🐻🐶🐱🐯🦁🌆🌃🌉🌌🌅🏖️🌴👨👩👧👦

If you don’t have life insurance make sure you get that taken before the genetic testing is back because you or your kids can be denied coverage based on the results. I wish I could come help you with laundry, house work, cooking during your recovery so you and your family can focus on healing
Sami P I’ve already need denied 😅 aw and you are so sweet, thank you!
So sorry to hear that, thankfully I had a nurse who warned me before I had a whole load of testing done so I had to get life insurance at 19 so I always try and spread that advice
