For inspiration when it comes to filling out the non-canon parts of the continent in the future, I recommend looking at the Old World Blues mod for Hoi4. They do a great job adding lore-friendly interesting factions that make the world feel like there's more going on than what is happening in the NCR/NV, DC and the 'Wealth.

Some of their additions are canon while others are not. Currently only the western half of the continent (from Honduras all the way to Alaska) is done but they are constantly adding new stuff.
The 2 issues I have with this are 1. I don't know if those creators would like me "poaching" their content for my video. Some creators can get touchy about such things. 2. I don't want to inadvertently start using other people's ideas. I get a lot of referrals from people to "watch this video" or "read that blog" and they may be right and it may be the best fallout content ever but I avoid these because I don't want to feel like I am stealing other people's work even if it's subconsciously doing it. But thank you for the referral.

I love the names of the different Canadian and Great Lakes region clans I'm surprised that Portsmouth isn't a nuclear crater considering Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. But I suppose it's possible in this timeline that it was shutdown and not used for nuclear submarines.
one thing I found odd about the fallout universe is why they would have a submarine repair base in nearby far harbor when they should have a sub base in portsmouth. Only thing I can come up with is that the portsmouth base was moved to far harbor.

@@nexbil01 alright, I don't like asking for things, but was this battle of Burlington inspired partially by the battle at Bennington? Which, if you don't know, was a famous and arguably the only notable military engagement in Nh-Vermont history.
As always, a fantastic watch! I’m looking forward to what comes next. Reference for other guerrilla wars that I haven’t seen mentioned in the comments are: The Boer Wars (British use of blockhouses is quite interesting to give a read, though might be too labour/resource intensive for these factions just yet), the Malay Crisis is also interesting (especially the British use of Iban Headhunters to combat guerillas). You always seem so well researched for these videos that I fully expect you to know of these already but it never hurts to bring them up again just in case.
I mentioned in a community post that this will be something like "bleeding kansas" just before the US civil war. A lot of bad blood between neighbors on either side of the conflict. I will also go back to the "beginning" to where the term guerilla warfare began, the peninsular war during the napoleonic wars.
While the war is going through the years the sole survivor has disappeared on suspicious circumstances so Garvey and the minutemen move on piper mourned his supposed death and lied to shaun about his father death but the whole time nate has been trying to escape the enclave to get back to his family
I love these. You really remind me of myself when I was a kid. I used to draw fantasy maps and write fictional battle reports like this. I still love it, don't stop these are awesome!

Yes, good that you made it grow organically, easier to imagine making new guns and armor based on captured equipment and research, whole new hardware categories require much more resources, skills, logistics and industrial capacity. The modified trawlers in FH were a good example of an ad-hoc example, making use of what’s available and already known, available and easy to modify.
I probably won't but I think that there's a lot for someone else to run with and make a great story. A pirate kingdom on the great lakes fighting with other Canadian kingdoms. Tons of material to work with there. If bethesda wanted they could turn that into Fallout 5 and probably make a fortune.

Pretty similar to my headcanon. Commanwealth, under Hancock invade the north to link up Far Harbor to the rest of the Commanwealth. However, instead of the Green Mountain Militia. It's just better organized raiders tribes. But it devolves into a Vietnam like war. With casualties mounting and no end in sight, Hancock's party splinters into anit-war and pro-war factions. Hancock's pro-war faction loses the midterms while the party in general loses to a the anit-war faction and a second political party. When the presidential election comes Hancock suddenly dies from "overdosing" on jet. (Basically, John F. Kennedy assassination) Vice president Fahrenheit takes over and subconsciously loses to the 2nd party. Joseph Howard becomes President. His anit-war policies lead to reduced support for the Minuteman and Commanwealth military in all. (Basically, Richard Nixon)

Forcing Garvey from his Command because he wasn't willing to participate in an unnecessary war was just an icing on the cake. The Massaschuest Commonwealth becoming like the NCR makes a lot of sense. The need for both political points and the ever-growing desire for more resources is what led the NCR to become what it was in FNV,

I hope you're able to expand yourself soon enough, collab with some other TH-camrs who do what you do and be able to churn out videos faster and at better quality.
I've had some talks with other fallout creators. Unfortunately what they do and what I do are somewhat different. They tend to focus on a single lone hero characters and exciting one off adventures, which is good but I tend to cover things from a much wider perspective. Not so much individuals, more like battles and campaigns. I wanted to do something like the kings and generals or the operations room channel. As far as I can see, I'm the only one doing that for fallout

I hope you're able to expand yourself soon enough, collab with some other TH-camrs who do what you do and be able to churn out videos faster and at better quality.
I've had some talks with other fallout creators. Unfortunately what they do and what I do are somewhat different.
They tend to focus on a single lone hero characters and exciting one off adventures, which is good but I tend to cover things from a much wider perspective. Not so much individuals, more like battles and campaigns.
I wanted to do something like the kings and generals or the operations room channel. As far as I can see, I'm the only one doing that for fallout

@@nexbil01 i remember doing something similar on discord with a few friends but it was game of thrones an you picked a character from the timeline your playing an try to either alter history or make your own, some wacky moments like my character starting out crippled an charging in battle on horseback while being unable to walk adds its own dynamic to the fight for example I rolled low an my horse ran away lol

You go with the upgraded Minuteman with military weapons and heavy armor and weapons against the militia what you should not do because it would be better off if they would work together against the Raiders and any other enemies
I do feel like there would be left over Brotherhood still around to attack the Minuteman Raiders and militia and what's left of the enclave
weapons and vertibird would be coming after them taking over the Brotherhood from the Commonwealth but there would be small groups of them trying to come back
people dont always do what would be the better course of action
