They all complimented and made each other funny. Ronnie without the show is a limo driver, JD without the show is a virgin tech worker, Grillo without the show is a bartender.. the list goes on.
I’m in my mid 30’s and it’s funny, my parents wouldn’t let me watch My Cousin Vinny at the age of 8 yet they never NOT had Howard on in the AM driving me to the bus stop. I thank them for subconsciously being really cool parents. A fond memory was them together laughing at Billy & Co.

I remember when Howard had those girls come in to judge him & jackies body on E! And it was surprising to see how much muscle mass Jackie was carrying for someone portrayed as a loser alcoholic
It is funny how a "jetty" or sea wall has nothing to do with a swim raft or floating platform that Jackie has tied down to the floor of the lake. To install one properly, there's usually a pile of cement cinder blocks with a chain pulled through a bunch of them and hooked back up to the chain that leads to the surface and attaches to the floating raft so it doesnt move more than 5-10ft in any direction. Of course jackies raft is tied down like crap so it ends up breaking loose and floating anywhere.

Artie brought a different type of humor to the show. His peak was his conflicts with Crazy Alice and Eric the Midget. But the Jokeman is definitely prime Stern when he was pushing the boundaries of the airwaves...
Artie was too much like the other three in-studio: couldn’t be the butt of a joke unless it was his bit. Imagine if the crew could have been this merciless about the sunglasses, napping, rages, etc.

Even Howard puts more effort into his Jackie voice and Billy I feel like had to be close to passing out on occasions doing his impression lol.
