When my mother explained the importance of voting, I couldn't wait to get old enough to vote. That was over 30 years ago, and i have voted in each and every election, with the exception of one. I was in hospital for about 4 month's at the time. She slso taught me to be open about the candidates, and not just vote red because of this and not blue because of that. She told me to listen to the candidate's and vote for the party that offers the most for your votes. By the time I turned 18, I felt so important because I had a driver's license, social security card and a voter's registration card in my wallet. Notice that i didn't say money. Remember how he helped Trump get elected on the campaign trail by making the Carrier HVAC deal that supposedly prevented moving the factory from Indiana to Mexico? Indiana gave Carrier a boatload of incentives to stay a year and after those incentives expired, Carrier was off to Mexico anyway. If those jobs in Mexico did a small part to prevent immigration to the US, then God Bless. But, the appearance of "saving American jobs" in Indiana was a blatantly and fraudulent subterfuge that helped convince Americans that Trump was doing something for American workers and the American economy. But, like everything else and in this case arranged by former Indiana governor Mike Pence, was itself a fraudulent maneuver.

The Afghan men in my family’s care are quiet, respectful, and proactive. The Afghan men in my family’s care are quiet, respectful, and proactive. It has been a bit more difficult to get to know the lady as she spoke no English, but that’s getting better; she’s teaching me a bit of Pashtun and I am teaching her a bit of English.
I would say that anyone who refuses to open their life to our supporting allies from Afghanistan didn’t just shut the door on people in need but also passed up an amazing chance to learn more about why our troops were there so long and why Trump was wrong to pull us away.
