If they were desperate he would've come back as Ironman and would've brought Thanos back as the big bad..not desperate..not a money grab cuz this whole franchise is a money machine so it's making money either way with a title like Avengers or Spiderman

I'm of two minds. I think bringing RDJ back does feel a bit desperate, but on the other hand actually could provide some great storytelling potential if done right. Marvel can only survive so long on cameos, etc. They need to focus on telling great stories and making them cohesive again.
I did not think it would be for me, but as a MCU fan I watched it never the less, when it came out, and I absolutly loved it. Yes they had a couple of sub-optimal choices in the story, especially when it came to the run time and which scenes should have gotton more time, but Kamala, her familiy and her friends where amazing and truly joyus. It was a happy place, feel good series.
I watched this show and I thought it was just pretty good. I loved the family dynamic so much, but the actual "marvel" part of the show fell pretty flat for me. I would seriously just take a straight up sitcom type show with her family and friends cause that is big time the strong point.
The only trouble about the bad reviews quoted in the Megalopolis trailer is that they aren't real. Vulture did a story about how those quotes weren't part of any of the reviews the trailer suggests.
I would love a S2 of Ms Marvel. One of their better shows even though i wasnt a big fan of the ending. The main actress does a GREAT job with that character and deserves a spotlight

My theater worker story was we went to see a movie. I forget which one it was but the theater wasn’t working and it was the only theater they were showing that movie at that time so we told the theater worker that sound and picture isn’t working right in the theater room, so he suggested we could either get a refund and come another day or we can watch Moonfall a week early from the release so we chose moonfall lol

You don't appreciate Parks and Rec without the setup of season 1 through your first watch, but rewatches after, yes you can skip. Its a season still trying to find it's footing, after that it's off to the races as one of the best shows of all time.
Look. I’m happy he’s Victor Von Doom because Doom is an incredible character and shouldn’t be wasted as a variant BUT I don’t think we should’ve gone for RDJ. Should’ve gone more traditional. I think Marvel should have flashbacks during the film to Doom’s origin and that’s how we get RDJ without the mask and that’s how we also get Doom with the mask in the present and how we also don’t waste the aura of Doctor Doom
Regarding RDJ... it was that talk with Jodie Foster, hinting at his excitement about "his next thing" while discussing his time with Marvel and his ability to create different characters. He had already told her whatever it was. At that point, I figured he was coming back one way or another.

I actually really liked Francis Ford Coppola's new trailer for megalopolis. It hooked me line hook and sinker. The imagery the story looks so captivating an enticing and wanting to draw me in and every single shot looks fantastic. I hate to say what the critics were saying for his previous films but maybe this is ahead of his time the cinematography looks so good it reminds me of a little bit cloud Atlas by the wachowskis
Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, Patriot (Bradley), America Chavez, and 1 to 3 more characters who get introduced in the series itself (Hulkling, son of a Kree and Skrull) and a "child" of Vision (Victor Mancha or Viv Vision) could be that Young Avengers-like team, but they should call it "Champions" and keep it moving.
If the guy in Agatha turns out to be a reincarnated William "Wiccan" Kaplan (ne Maximoff), they can toss him in too, and if they're up for the CGI, they can consider Skaar (son of Hulk) instead of Hulkling, Viv and/or Wiccan.

Hey John concerning the sequel trilogy , I kinda wish they just show all these new heroes and their in a future state and their lives all suck and failed lives, then they just killed them off epic-ly and then have the fandom say whyyyyyy; And you can tell them "that's just how they're lives was heading, it's completely consistent with it". I loved the first season of Ms. Marvel. And I actually enjoyed The Marvels. Not saying it was peak phase 5. It was a Chapek film. It was rushed. It could have been alot better. John overrates this show. The character is wonderful as is her family dynamics...... But he never refers positively to that stupid story for the villains. The action was not great. The CGI was worse than secret invasion. The ideas of going back into her families past was good, but poorly executed. I pretty much hated the 2nd half of the show. Though the high school little battle against the govt squad was fun
If doctor Doom is only the main villain, RDJ has te put all his talent on building that character, because he is Iron Man!!but I don’t h as be any doubts about the talent of this guy, if has a good script, because the script is essentially the base to the character and the tone to do, that will lead to the choices of RDJ, how to play DD. If then they turn DD into a anti-Hero, then RDJ is the best choice, no doubt!!! So has lot of risks, and can go terribly wrong, but with a great screenplay, and if everybody shows up giving 200%, then this can be big! RDJ move comes off as desperate because of the fact that it's an easy ploy to get audiences back in seats. John himself said at the beginning of segment mentioned that audiences will come in droves to Doomsday because of RDJ. Is it completely risk free? Absolutely not. I'd say it's a high risk-high reward situation. The fact of the matter is mainstream audiences hear RDJ is back and it'll draw them back to the theater.
Apparently the quotes in the megalopolis trailer are either fake or supposedly taken from other movies not related to the movies they are quoted about. This marketing is a mess.

RDJ move comes off as desperate because of the fact that it's an easy ploy to get audiences back in seats. John himself said at the beginning of segment mentioned that audiences will come in droves to Doomsday because of RDJ.
Is it completely risk free? Absolutely not. I'd say it's a high risk-high reward situation. The fact of the matter is mainstream audiences hear RDJ is back and it'll draw them back to the theater.
