This is what i learned from watching the video.
    · Save money
    · You can lose your job anytime
    · Restrict yourself from buying unecessary things
    · Stay healthy
    · invest
    Etc..

i'd also say to find jobs that can improve yourself ( for example if u cant communicate well or if u have a fear of it then maybe you can overcome it if u have a job that involves you doing a bit of communicating ) or a restaurant to learn to cook better and also it's better if u find a temporary job and then continue on job hunting until you find one that you like ( with this you are actually working and getting pay instead of being jobless for 9 months and still looking for a good job )

Me too! I found trading (stocks, crypto, forex) that requires literally no communication but it is risky, hard to learn (my lessons come from ytb only and you have to figure out whats good or not by yourself. there are mentors but well i'm broke and don't like people lmao) and you kinda need money to start (thankfully my dad is down to help me but I still have to learn about it). I just thought I'd share in case it could help you find a cool job to do :) Anyways good luck for the future and let's hope we become rich!!!

Hmmm I have that fears and frustration at first too but then since i get to talk to my clients and sometimes chatting is exhausting i got to drop voicemails haha. then after a while i noticed Im not so against talking and communicating in english and its easier now. so now i practice with my nieces since im making video instructions at work haha. I guess practice and first step in breaking barrier is the key. just fo for it and if the first attempt failed, then try again. once you get used to it the fear will be gone and it only leaves determination

i can relate to this so much.. I'm also 23 and the eldest child.. my younger sister has more job experience than I have.. thankfully i got accepted last year as an online English tutor.. i could've pursued it as my main job but I don't want to regret not experiencing the job i want which is getting involved in agriculture.. I got rejected A LOT and was thinking of not pursuing it anymore and just find a decent job instead.. now i work in a company as an agriculturist and today's my 3rd day at my work! not to mention i get anxiety attacks A LOT. from finding a job and now having the job i want.. sometimes i question myself if this is the path i really want to pursue? because honestly I'm not enjoying my job so far but let's see nothing's easy in this world and i Know my younger self would be proud of me I've made it here.. sorry I shared too much 😅 but I'm rooting for you!! you'll find a job that fits you!!💖

I actually am at a comfort of my home doing freelancing myself not only because of rejection but also the bullying. I can't survive in the BPO environment because of a traumatic experience. Sure, the pay and benefits are high but your mental health is at stake too. If you have social anxiety, it's a dog eat dog world out there. I can pay my bills through freelance, be my own boss and got to have my own shop. It wasn't enough but I do hope I could earn as much as you do! T^T

I work in a BPO company for 6yrs now. The first 3yrs was phone voice customer service(US Client) and we always get irate customers everyday. The pay is average but still good compare to our local pay. The work was emotionally tiring especially when speaking with rude and self-entitled customers. I hate the job but I have bills to pay like rent, groceries and phone bill. Then after 3yrs they approve my request to transfer to Backoffice which is a non voice. The Task is fairly easy, no more talking to rude customers and I get along with my supervisor and teammates. And since pandemic happened we are now working from home which is a blessing cuz I don't need to rent anymore and we can take home our PC, and we are given Internet allowance monthly. Now I'm still working from home in our province together with my family and pets haha. Thank you for sharing your experience. My advice, if you live alone and work at home, then you might want to get a pet like dog or cat cuz It can be a little lonely sometimes.

One of the students invited me to Japan and that is how I got my current job. I'm teaching in Japan now. Like you, I've been living alone with no friends, no families. Haven't spoken Tagalog for many years now and it sometimes make me feel homesick. The old saying ''don't judge a book by its cover'' is timeless. 2:17 I felt this on a whole nother level! I’ve been unemployed since 16 and can’t get into the simplest jobs like a cashier or dishwasher. I went to apply too remote customer service jobs but I don’t have a good computer so fail and interviewers from zoom and on-ground never give me a follow up.
I had so many interview request but gave up and won’t even bother honestly since I’m at a disadvantage with no car and a toxic household anyways- plus it was a huge waste of time dressing up, going into crowded buildings and waste gas to only get rejected.
Now I’m trying freelancing as that’s my only shot for now as an undergrad graphic design student. I’m also gonna freelance with art and editing but setting everything up and building my portfolio seems overwhelming 😭

Honestly this past few years after the breakout of pandemic, getting a job with higher salary is REALLY hard, companies are taking advantage of the people being jobless and applying for jobs with low salary. Trying to shift career as a VA is SOOO hard. Specially this year applying with no VA experience plus you need to earn income. I'm inspired by the VA bloggers giving us inspiration like this. But in reality, it's very hard. The competition is hard now. I would say, if you are currently studying your field. Just stick with it, even though you will be paid for low amount for experience. That would be nice.

You deserve it! I hope I get the courage to start my first vlog and find a decent freelancing job too. I'm in fear of discouragement and criticism. I hope I get to overcome them. i really like these type of videos, it was really comforting. :)
I'm in my mid-twenties and am currently in the process of finding my first "real" job, specifically web development. I think you gave lots of good advice in the video, but one that stuck out to me is the importance of investing in a skill, which i've actually done recently by trying email development which is not as big as web but still pays good. There's lots of opportunities out there, just gotta look for them, haha. I've actually been applying for a month or two now with no luck, so I've been working on improving my skills, and I think this video made me really consider starting freelancing soon since I often don't feel good living with my family and I have anxiety everyday.
I see some comments here from those younger than me who've also mentioned they're not in a good living situation. I'd just like to say you're okay despite the situation you're in. As long as you stay focused on your goals, treat yourself with kindness, and regularly working towards the things you truly love, you're already there.
Sorry for the ramble lol, but thanks for the video and i hope everyone here does well in life. Let's keep doing our best. :D

Tbh, I was hesitant to subscribe to your channel because I thought you're just like the other Freelancers/TH-camrs who are so secretive about their work that it felt like they are gatekeeping them. I mean it's not like we are asking them for the person they are working for, we're just asking them about the work per se and tips on how to get one. You are literally a breath of fresh air! You are so honest and simple. You told your experiences, you share what to do and what not to do. You gave a lot of helpful tips and we are so grateful! So thank you! Watching this video reminded me of myself in the past haha It wasn’t easy switching from typical office work to freelancing. It took me a long time to find an online job too. In my case, I applied and passed the first and second test but they didn’t reached out after the third test. I still hope it’s the one so I made a follow up email and they said I failed. At that time, I was thinking maybe free lancing isn’t for me.. I was really sad but they reached out after a few weeks and recommended me to another friend of his. Now, I’m still working on that company for more than a year now :) All is good in God’s time 🥰

I feel like we're alike in some ways. I did quit my job last Jan this year to push for WFH because its been kinda like my dream since I started working years ago. I didn't stay too long in BPO company bc i hate answering calls so much, it still gives me anxiety even after 1yr+ experience lul. I was lucky enough to land a non voice job (they require 1+ yr call experience mostly here in Cebu) and stayed there for 3 yrs. I grew to like the field I was working on, learned a lot, invested in my skills and got promoted. I then used that as my leverage to get my first WFH job. I agree that it was no easy at all. Its stressful, I have bad interview anxiety, I got rejected a lot and sometimes I do feel like accepting another voiced account jobs just so I could survive during my jobless months. I really tried my best.. so I am beyond grateful for being accepted in a industry I like and curious enough to stay lol and the hardship doesnt stop there cx I still lack in some experience (no excel or work related background here) and that definitely is one of my most biggest career challenges im facing right now. But even experts had to start as an amateur. We all start as beginners. So, I agree with investing with your skills. Even when youre a student, you CAN have that leverage. Like me and millions of others who got their first job before. We all can do this. Anyway, off to learning excel course again. (Tip: based on my job hunting exp, most of wfh requires you to know basic-advance excel and stuff. Its a good skill to learn when you wanna work with tech if some of you are down with that. If youre no good like me then you gotta make up for it bc always saying youre willing to learn and share an example on something you dont know before but you studied.) So yeah, your inspiring story got me thinking of leaving a comment to also *try* to inspire anyone out there! BEST OF LUCK YOU GUYS 💛

Im also 28 have been jobless from adulthood D:. Have been photographer for 10 years with gig work (and recently videographer - getting more work now as videographer, cause photographer so saturated and lots of competition). I used to do photobooth work too delivering, setting up, attending photobooth, etc until i refused a test.
A huge part the past 2 years was cause of C-D, and turning down event work cause im refuse tests and am un bac in ated. So my growth has been majorly stunted from that.... :/
Tried office work last year, but was fired after a few months and the week before i got a raise lol(?) (not due to my poor performance, but from poor upper management and other departments not doing their work reflecting poorly on me). Been difficult finding other office jobs, but they also are miserable environments lol. The last office job i was hired for lasted 2 weeks and let go, but everyone was morbidly obese, so shows the stress, and unhappiness, and lack of life balance in the office enviornment. It was extremely difficult finding the time and energy to exercise doing that job.
Keep trying D: we will find our ways. You are not alone and i know it might sound embarrassing to be an older 20 year old not yet anywhere yet D:. Sharing similar experience

Very good I stumbled upon this aswell. I'm a 14 year old highschool student and I just started freelancing 2 months ago, I make 8-12,000 pesos with my hourly rate at 250-1,000 pesos and only work when a commission is up. It's crazy that it demands very little time therefore it gives you space to study for your school works... So I just wanna say that the freelancing thing isn't really stressful for some students like me who wants to earn extra cash, although it * Heavily * depends on your field + workload intake.
