I love how your apartment is only 3k PHP a month, pet friendly, and allows you to redecorate. Such a rare find. Your place looks way better than before. Great job!
I'm also renting for almost 2 years now and here are the things I wish I knew before renting an apartment: 1. ASK AS MANY QUESTION AS YOU WANT (Garbage collection, kung bahain ba, pano pag gusto mo na umalis pano ang deposit, etc.) Maraming landlord ang nalilito at ginagamit ang word na "Advance" payment as their term to what supposed to be "Move in" fee. Ito yung 1 month advanced 1 month deposit ikanga. Nung first time ko akala ko yung 1 month advanced na yon is sakop na, let's say, January to February. Hindi sya yung literal na advance mo yung isang buwan, kundi pagbili mo ng right to own the apartment. 2. 2. Agawan yon. 4. Ask permission kung may irerenovate ka (again, i record mo. I find it safest kapag may proof ka palagi) 5. Plan what you're going to buy for the apartment carefully. If I may suggest, bumili ka nga foam na natitiklop and/or lamesa na natitiklop. Para if you don't need it, you can keep it folded.
For your succulent: fill a bowl water. the bowl should be big enough for the plant pot to fit in and deep enough where the water wont overflow. Place the plant pot in the bowl of water. Let it drink water from the roots up. Take out after a few minutes (maybe like 5). Do this whenever the soil is really dry. This way you wont overwater and the leaves dont get wet which is bad if you dont have a lot of wind as it will rot quickly.
