    Great cost effective load. Have shot many Gobbler over the years with them. Great review.

    Glad to see the camo gun at work. Looks like the new bolt is working fine.

      Its actually a frankengun...the black receiver with camo barrel. I was testing ang fine tuning in case Buck needs to borrow a gun later this season.

    I used those last fall when I couldn't find my XRs... Just fine to hit a pair of hens at 30 or so through a Indian creek choke. Head of one was dangling by half a tendon, spread seemed tight.

      Those shells have a ton of shot, if it stays tight it is almost a solid wall, especially at 30.

      Why on earth would you shoot hens?

      @@-B_G- I agree with you. However some states have fall seasons where either sex is legal for harvest.

      @@heathalford4721- that’s crazy. that doesn’t seem like a smart move by DNR given the situation with population decline in a lot of states.

      @@-B_G- I agree, in Mississippi it’s now by permit only on private land in certain counties. It doesn’t effect me in the areas I hunt

    Looks like the factory was about the best to me with those shells

      I am a fan of the Mossy factory choke. If your gun comes with it, I wouldn’t be in a hurry to upgrade.

    Could you do a review on the new Remington premier TSS?

    • @RegularGuysOutdoors
      @RegularGuysOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have some on the way in 20 guage. I will surely use it in a couple of choke tube tests that I have planned. I don’t know if I will do a dedicated video on them or not, simply due to the cost. Either way, those videos will come out in February when people have turkeys on their minds again. Thank you for watching.

    What 's the effective range on these?

    • @RegularGuysOutdoors
      @RegularGuysOutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      depending on how your gun and choke tube handle them, 40 to 45 yards

      Agree 100%. Just sighted in my red dot sight and good to go to 45 yard maxium out of my Mossberg 500 Turkey.

      what choke are you using? Good luck out there this season, mine’s been a bit rough so far.

      @@RegularGuysOutdoors If you meant choke, which I am assuming, I use a Carlson's Longbeard XR .660 Xtra Full Choke. Turkey season doesn't start until April 15th here in Washington State.

    Too much choke on the A5 and the sights need to be moved so your centers of pattern go up and left. Way too much shot in the bodies. Good video!

    • @RegularGuysOutdoors
      @RegularGuysOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My A5 shoots high, sometimes changing the load or choke...or sometimes both, will change the point-of-impact.
