Stayed in the rain for 30 minutes last night. True enough I'm in GA so it wasn't too bad. But that rain water do justice. I have flats in the back but some are round too. Met a 4yr locka yesterday she just talked missing these months/ years. I could get it cause they doing the most in the beginning. Loving my process. Great video staying tuned!

I'm about to make 1 month on my loc journey. I've been using the sponge occasionally throughout the month just to get a firm foundation. Gonna be free forming for the rest of my journey. Mad excited.🇳🇦

Great inspiration. I haven't cut my hair since the virus. I take the distancing seriously! I have a year of growing a fro. I got the Dr. Bronner's as you have used in your wash video. My biggest concerns are helmets. I wear road bike helmets all the time, which means my hair will stay sweaty and flatten. I am thinking of wearing a stalking on my head whilst riding. Any suggestions for this?

I need help i started my free form and stop taking care of my hair so one day I decided to start back washing and stuff so my top part looks great but the back of my hair is short like WAY shorter than the rest of my hair what should i do i wanna cut it all off and restart but i gotta see is there a way to fix it or am i just doomed to restart
My sides, and back has locked. But my top front section of my head is taking its time to lock up. I’m liking my journey though.

Am semi-forming and I have never retouched my Locs ,,there are now 18 months old
So it’s ok to put oil in your hair after every wash ? Also is it ok to switch from 2 weeks to 1 week wash days like you ?
It depends on which oils and how much you're using - I'd AVOID using anything heavy, like coconut oil or castor oil. I usually just do something light and diluted in a bit of water. Like, jojoba oil. Lately I haven't been since my scalp hasn't been to dry.
And ofc, since starting - I wash 1x week. If it's a busy week and I've been going working out, etc. - then I do 2x a week.
Im one month in but tbh i’m afraid to wash my hair... Usually when I wash my hair my “locks” come out. I’m afraid to lose my progress
I def get the fear Lloyd, sometimes washing will seem to hinder progress. Especially for finer textured hair. But if u have coarder, kinky type hair a wash after a month should be fine!
As you saw in the vid at the end, the wash actually made my baby locs look even more locked. Baby locs love a good wash. You can also use the methods I talked about in my wash video if you're afraid of losing progress!
