    Lovely video! Could you do a video about the process of getting an apartment off campus? I'm weighing my options

    All of these were great 😊 Great advice to pack ahead of time lol 😝 You’re totally right, you always forget something if you do it last minute; it became too expensive to dorm so I’m commuting this semester. I really miss staying over though 😅

      Thanks so much for watching!! Ahh I get you it’s nice being on campus but if you can commute that’s cool too!! X

    Thank you so much for doing this video! I’m moving into UEA in a few weeks so it’s nice to have some tips about the first day. I’m going to force myself to go into the kitchen as soon as possible too, I feel like once that initial stage of properly introducing myself to everyone is over it’ll feel a lot less stressful

      An update for anyone that's going into the first year by time they read this: Everyone is so friendly and welcoming at UEA! I'm someone that experiences a lot of anxiety when facing changes in my life, but even I have found it quite easy to socialise with my flatmates despite feeling very anxious. Put yourself out there as much as possible, but don't feel embarrassed to have a quiet night to yourself when you're feeling tired. Moving to uni is an exciting but tiring experience. Good luck!

      Thanks for watching! I don’t actually think I know anyone who lived there but I think it’s the same as the rest of the en suite on campus so I’m sure you’ll love it! X

    Could you do a video on like student housing for going into second year, like times you should start looking, different options available, how to know who you should live with etc? That would be great 😊

      That's such a good idea! Yes i definitely will do! I'll ask on my instagram in a couple of weeks what people would like to know!

    Hey, I’m moving into Hickling on Saturday. Have you got any Hickling/Barton specific advice and can you remember how much storage space you get in the kitchen in terms of how many cupboards and drawers please? Your videos have been so helpful xx

    • @LiaSophie
      @LiaSophie  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for watching!! I would give the same advice to everyone I can't think of anything specific to Hickling and Barton to be honest! The storage space was really good. We all had a small cupboard each and shared a big cupboard with one other person and shared a drawer with one other person too xx

    I’m travelling by train to my University of Hertfordshire is that a bad choice

    • @LiaSophie
      @LiaSophie  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If you can go by car I would recommend that but if that’s not possible then travelling by train would still be okay! It just means you might not be able to pack as much but a lot of people pack way too much if they go by car so at least it means you won’t end up bringing loads of unnecessary things!

    Hi! I've just received an offer from UEA for international development (Post graduate). Your videos have been so helpful - I've been binged watched almost all of them :)
    I'm an international student so do you have suggestions about what winter clothes are a must and the same with bedding essentials. What are the places we can get all of these from?

    • @LiaSophie
      @LiaSophie  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey thanks for watching my videos I’m so glad they’ve been useful!! It does get quite cold in the winter, sometimes below 0 degrees Celsius so I’d definitely bring some warm layers! A winter coat will be an essential and some jumpers and leggings and maybe a hat and gloves too. For bedding you will need a sheet, duvet and duvet covers, pillows and pillow covers. You can get these things at most big supermarkets like tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s etc or places like wilko will also do bedding x
