O.M.G ...man you nailed it ! At the end when you were smiling next to it ... I too was smiling like a Cheshire cat ...as they say . You big lucky talented bugger !!
What a beautiful car. I was 18 years old I worked at Ford dealer 1969 in the wash rack washing cars. One day in June 69 a portable parking lot pulled in with 6 brand new 69 Mach ones. I almost shit my pants they were fresh new styling today like your fast standing still what a beautiful design. I own a 70 Mach 1 that I bought in 1973 and I still have it today its original unrestored condition.
I grew up next to a guy that bought one,He just got back from the war,He was going to the store and gave me and him little brother a ride to get tire tubes,he said put on your seat belts, them we stopped on the highway on ramp,he went through the gears and being in back seat I was so scared but love it,at the same time
Stunning Fomoco jewel that she is and quite obvious she’s in the right hands and stable ! That smile on your face speaks volumes of how much sacrifice ,blood ,sweat ,& tears went into that build & restoration sir .God bless you !
Absolutely a beautiful Mustang! I worked on these when they were new. I opted for a 67 Fairlane R Code. 427 with 2 4bbls. 31 spline axle, ran 13.6-13.9 et. Wish I had it back!
Brings back great memories, my late Brother and I shared a CJ Mustang and we not only Loved that car, we Never lost a race in it. Not against other Fords, Mopars or Chevys.
I had one just like yours (sans the front & rear spoilers). Mine was also the factory red. Wish I knew then what I know now & I would have never parted with the car. I do now have a 15 Roush RS 2 with 750 hp, but there's something about the 60's/70's muscle cars that can't be duplicated.
That is a SWEEEEET Restoration ! Nice detail under the hood ! FE's like headers. Even impressed with the gages , all chrome and proper with the tach in the dash! I'm envious..
Great camera work with the walkaround..working in tandem to pull -off an awesome showcase! Miss my ‘71 Mach 1 . No Cobra Jet only a 351 Cleveland BUT it was fairly fast, and it was mine…for a time.
I have the same exact same car in 351W 2v with a 4 barrel intake with a Holley 650 d.p., I love my '69 Mach 1 more then any of my other sports cars. I don't have posi, and it still kicks ass. Plenty of power. It's simply,. " The King of Kool"
We just bought one like in this video. We always wanted a 69 R code . We didn't realize how hard it is to get one. Pretty rare and expensive but well worth it. The car will be fun to drive.
I had a chance to buy a 69 Mach One 428 SCJ , no shaker , 4 speed in Lubbock Texas unrestored for$ 3000. I kick myself in the ass now. It was Blue w gold stripe.
Absolute masterpiece and IT'S A 4 SPEED, Don,t get no better. A auto woulda ruined it for me. Can just imagine how it feels gear jamming that beast of a engine on the freeway.
beautiful car! mustangs not just cars ,they are part of you! when time comes for me to depart this earth i dont need a casket, bury me in the drivers seat of my mustang!
I don't remember what movie but I remember seeing Cesar Romero driving one in a movie. Just like that one . I'm looking for it. I wanna say a Disney movie. Hmmm
This is one magnificent piece of Fords great history of muscle cars! About 45 years ago, I could've bought a triple black one. He bought it new in '69 & kept it immaculate. He wanted $2500 for it, we thought that was too much! Yeah I know all about hindsight! 💔😔
Thank you,
It took me 11 years in my spare time to strip it down to the bare shell and put it back together again.
Very fun to drive!
You did a great job. Beautiful from any perspective, and the sound is incredible.
well done joe...beautiful
O.M.G ...man you nailed it ! At the end when you were smiling next to it ... I too was smiling like a Cheshire cat ...as they say . You big lucky talented bugger !!
Let's see some fun
WOW
It doesn't get much nicer than this. Great restoration!

My first car, purchased in 1973 was a mint 1970 Mach 1. Still my favorite looking classic muscle car.

Wow..I think 69 is the best looking Mustang...especially a 428 Shaker Mach1 4 speed in candy apple red. iconic....
I agree, that's why we have one.
Holy crap! Absolute perfection looks just like it did in the showroom.
Probably the sweetest 69' Mach 1 428CJ I've seen, I am so jealous..
For me, the shot at the end of the video of a proud man beside his car. A very cool moment.
Perfect body, perfect, colours, perfect model, perfect sound,...prettiest car ever built !! You must be very proud : )
Greetings from Germany !!
That's not a car it's a work of art. IMHO the 69 is one of the most beautiful cars ever made. Please be careful with it.
I guess this beauty never comes out on a rainy day. No windshield wipers.
Back when cars were built properly 👍👍👍👍👌👏👏👏❤️❤️
Beauty! I can't seem to save money to finish mine. The longer I wait the more parts cost. Beautiful car you have.
Stunning Fomoco jewel that she is and quite obvious she’s in the right hands and stable ! That smile on your face speaks volumes of how much sacrifice ,blood ,sweat ,& tears went into that build & restoration sir .God bless you !
Props brother!! 9 years later lol!!

I would've picked the 427 myself please tell me it was a 4 speed??!!
Love the shot near the end of this clip …… the smile of a truly proud dad. Something that cannot be facked. Good for you my friend.Enjoy.
The '69 Mach 1 is one of my all-time favourite Mustangs, espescially in red. Greetings from 🇩🇪

Very nice 428 cj best and fastest motor. Even better than the boss 429. Not worth as much but faster on the street. Beautiful example
That is a SWEEEEET Restoration ! Nice detail under the hood ! FE's like headers. Even impressed with the gages , all chrome and proper with the tach in the dash! I'm envious..

How lucky a man ! Been my dream car since my childhood... But if dreams were...
Great camera work with the walkaround..working in tandem to pull -off an awesome showcase! Miss my ‘71 Mach 1 . No Cobra Jet only a 351 Cleveland BUT it was fairly fast, and it was mine…for a time.
