Question : When apple car play doesn’t want to connect…….is it because the phone has no signal or is it something in the vehicle usually ? Asking for a friend with Kia 😃
Off topic question for you pros. Is there a way to raise the wipers off the windscreen on the Kona? The hood blocks them when they are in the lower position. I assume turning the wipers on while the car is running and then shutting the car off when the wipers are at the top of their travel could work, but is there another way? Thanks in advance!
This information can be found in your Owner's Manual, however this is the answer from a KIA Forum: "When you park and turn off your engine, push up on the wiper control inside your car for two seconds. You have 20 seconds after the engine is off to do this. The wipers will come up and then you can pull them away from the windscreen."

I have the same car, and the infotainment is awesome. But I absolutely hate that dual climate/media control interface. It gets washed out in the sun, especially when it dims from the headlights coming on during the day and there's reflection. And if you're wearing sunglasses, it's virtually illegible.

Apple carplay. My brother's about to have a field day with that one. Most of my family have Android while my brother and my friend have iPhones😆
Is CCNC something that can be updated on 2023 Sportage? The wired CarPlay is the worst thing about it.
Unfortunately not, for Sportage it will only start on the 2026 refresg

Only if you have the 8” display. Wireless CarPlay on our larger screens is only available on vehicles equipped with CCNC - our latest software.

KIA's voice command is limited to essential driver functions like phone, media and navigation. But it will do if you dont talk to your car that much 😜
