Just an FYI, Will, it’s pretty normal for your shampoo to not suds the first time! That means the surfactants (cleansers) are sticking to the dirt, oil, etc in your hair/scalp and in the process of removing it. Just shampoo as normal, rinse it out, and then shampoo again. If your hair is clean, the shampoo will suds much more the second time!
I don't want to encourage you into hyperconsumerism but I really enjoyed this video. I think it would be cool if you keep doing it like once every quarter or something.

I have never been able to do a WNG until I used the Innersense line. It’s 100% naturally derived product line. Never thought that would be possible but those lines do exist! The aroma is relaxing and a little goes the longest way! With Wash & Go’s ‘I Create Hold’ from them is a must try. Water is key with us kinky, curly peeps so whoever is saying they can’t do it.. trust me, it’s possible lmaoo.
I love Miche lavish leave-in (and it's a cream😄) . The whole line is pretty good but the leave-in is awesome and melts tangles. The only downside is that you have to order it but it's worth it for me!

Please I really think you'd loooooove the Innerscence i hold hair- hair gel. Just try it. It lasts and it works. Thats it, I use the shampoo and cond but not their butter because of the pumkin pie huney, but the whole line is silicone free.
You should try hair lab it’s a plain shampoo and conditioner that you put these little doses of customizable things you add to it.. things like curl boost, frizz control, heat protectant, shine boost etc Its worked so great for my hair! I bought every single dose they had and put it in my regular shampoo and conditioner and you can really tell the difference! Also when the pump won’t open remove it from the bottle make sure it’s dry and use a towel to open it because it’s just stuck!!
Target spreads out the Shea Moisture products. Puts stuff where it's not with the rest of the brand OR with the other same-type products (bodywash). It was in the eye makeup aisle. It's annoying.

Ive recently started taking haircare seriously and like how come it takes so much work. And like my hair is weird its like not white people hair its like wrinkled.
I believe the Madame gel was supposed to stand alone.. Its for the girlies like me who apply our gels in the shower.. It's supposed to be used like the botanical gels are being used.. So no cream stylers used underneath, and that's why it doesn't work together with other items in the line.. I haven't used the 'LOC' application method in over a year now, so I have no comments on any stylers for that method.. But this gel used as a base gel with a harder hold topper gel works pretty darn well.. The products have to be used as directed, the way things are being formulated now, if used differently boy are those results unpredictable..
I use the Squeaky Shampoo and Richee Rich Conditioner from Uncle Funky's Daughter! And if you haven't used it yet, I also use Mielle's Rosemary Mint Strengthning Hair Masque but I use it before I wash my hair 💀
Boo no one carries full lines of anything Black… I tend to just go directly to the source. Walmart in Cali is on the IDFW List. They started locking up only the Black Hair Care products. So yeah I don’t go in that place PERIODT 🤷🏾♀️
I dont know if you've reviewed them yet but I use ouidad products for styling. They have alot of products for coily hair that actually work really well. I use melanin haircare for shampoo and conditioner. Their new pumpkin deep conditioner is actually nice. She cute and is very hydrating for the dry Colorado weather.
