I bought a Tascam Model 12 in Dec. I am returning it this week.. I hate it.. and the only videos for help is for Mac Computer.. I am PC.. I turned around and bought Rodecastor Pro 2.. should be here tomorrow or Thurs.. so excited.. Imagine my delight to find your videos.. God Bless You.. I cannot wait to get the Rodecastor here.. I feel more confident that I will be able to hook up and use this product..

Wow, finally a detailed explanation. I have a problem, which is that I am trying to connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi, but to no avail. I do not know the problem, but it connects via cable. Please help. Thank you.

Y’all have an excellent tutorial. It doesn’t assume anything and there by skip over steps that a lot of other tutorials do. I’d love to see y’all do a similar thing with post production with audacity or something.

I am going through the setup wizard for the first time, and I have my headphones plugged in, but im not hearing any sound (your 6:25 mark in the video), and I have double checked the wires, connection, and everything.

Hello, I purchased a rode caster pro 2, It arrived today. I set it with my pod mic and everything seems great. I am just a little confused about a few features, as I did not own the previous rode Caster Pro and there is no user manual. My issue is when using the smart pads the FX selections work but on the horn etc and don't hear it in my headphones. I'm I supposed to hear that through my headphones or the out goes out to external speakers if you have them as apart of your set-up? Any help would be appreciated, thank you

Why can't I hear the smart pads in my bluetooth ear buds, which are connected via windows 11 in my laptop? I can hear my mic, but no sound effects. The slider for the pads is the default slider (#4) and it is not muted, de-amplified with the fader, or not set to "listen". I've worked on this issue for 4 hours now and can't find a solution anywhere.

We are so many having severe issues with this device. Are there actually devices that work out of the box with the provided cables? Mine won't... and suddenly it is messing with my sound comint through too and stopped recognizing the SD card. Can't connect to rodecentral as port 1 does not work at all!
Depending on your needs/goals, the RCP2 might be overkill. You can do a lot of cool stuff with something like the Stream Deck, Xkeys, etc.
Somehow I skipped the set-up wizard :-( I've tried to reset but every time I do reset it never goes back to the wizard it just let's me know that it's been reset to factory setting but the wizard doesn't come up. What can I do to get the wizard setup again??? Thanks

Just bought RCP II, has original RCP. My apps: Rode Central ask to be connected to RCP, it is, won't recognize it. Also Rode connect shows pads with different sounds than the actual pads. Then there is the RCP app, probably from the old RCP, shows no info, assuming we don't need it
(This is Daniel) That's super odd! I have both versions as well and they both work as expected. Have you tried them on a different computer to see if it's the computer or software that's the issue?
@@LiveStreamingProsRode has some serious issues right now 😂$700 for this unit and so far what I have seen is nothing but hype and empty promises from Rode 😂😂😂😂😂
Is Wi-Fi only used for updates on the Rodecaster Pro 2?
Pretty much, that's about the only reason right now...unless Rode decides to do some more awesome things with it! :)
Can the Rodecaster pro II plug into a dock station?
Yes, you can plug USB 1 or USB 2 into a POWERED USB dock or hub. Best not to use one of those USB hubs that do not have their own power supply.
