stfu. cant stand our casual butthurt fans. never willing to accept the truths about the state of our program. we havent been relevant in 15 yrs, we cant recruit locally. Kids dont want to come here because we have nothing to offer except a great education which isnt that high on kids list.
Great session with JD, Marc. He brings samity to the current College Football chaos. Need to have him on more and at least once on Inside the Trojan Huddle with Counselor Chris. Fight On!
Thank you Marc! I had no idea JD was a SoCal guy. I may listen to him differently in the future. I share your zeal for the future vs the past of SC football. It pains me to see a series cancelled like that. It’s also sad to see us lose when the SEC is crowing about their records when they play glorified JV talent teams and see them rewarded for it.
Thanks, Marc, for again giving us a well-informed, thought-provoking show! Even though hindsight can be 20/20, I think timing is EVERYTHING! Nobody knows if we would have gotten Lynn, Henny, Belk, Entz (ANY of them) if LR had pulled the trigger on Grinch after year one! Time WILL tell! FIGHT ON!✌️✌️✌️
Great interview, what a bright young man. I wish my daughter had found a guy like him. As for five all time Trojans…Marcus Allen, Junior, Matt Leinart, Charles White and Ricky Bell.
@@ryanpitts8516 oh yeah! He was the guy after Reggie that when he got the ball wether on offense/defense or special teams you were on the edge of your seat because there was a good chance something special was going to happen. Zachariah Branch has that feel now as well, if Raleek had stuck around and polished his game I would have had the same feeling. Just electric!!!!
Canceling a challenging series reminds me of a couple of historic “Go for the tie” strategies in win categories. You understand the math, but hate the resignation.
To be the best you should play the best teams. I think the fans would rather see USC play Ole Miss than a mid level team. The Ole Miss game would tell Riley if USC is good enough to make the 12 team playoff selection as Ole Miss has a good team.
Kiffin and Sark are coaches who would love to play USC again. They have matured and grown in their profession, just like Lincoln Riley. All three coaches serve as cautionary warnings.
Gents, CFB is FUNDAMENTALLY different from the CPC “Glory Days”. Scheduling a top-tier non-conference opponent makes little sense. Goal now is to win the conference and natty. Winning either is MUCH harder now. B1G is better than PAC-12. Look who got added! Also, consider this: During both ‘04 & ‘05 title runs, USC ONLY played 13 games. PAC-12 did not have a championship game. The BCS#1 vs BCS#2 winner “earned” the title, except when the coaches poll caused co-national champs to be crowned in ‘04. MI (and WA) played 15 games this year. Next year the national champion (and runner up) will play 16 or 17 games. No CFB head coach or AD would voluntarily add a TOUGHER non-con game to the schedule. Chance of injuries is REAL. Why put all your best players at risk in a meaningless non-con game against a top-tier opponent (Especially when doing so doesn’t help achieve your ultimate goal). Want more CFB? You got it if you make the conference championship game and the CFB playoffs! FIGHT ON!!!✌️✌️✌️
Bag chasers can go somewhere else. USC needs players that want to be there..not prima Donas.. How many 5 ⭐busts at USC in the past and there just going to pay a highschool kid millions to do the same. People don't even understand USC and why they do things their way.
@@Talkinsports91 lol there was talent. You're mentioning Clay helton and his lousy coaching staffs. Come on now. I know you're not a USC fan making that comment. Helton was a lousy coach period

NO WONDER… JD is the only level headed objective one in ON3 everyone there tries to be but cannot help their personal biases.

Super great show, JD is the absolute best when it comes to national football coverage. Hope to see you two collab again✌🏽
Great show guys! ✌️
So far this the best collab I’ve seen
Thanks! ✌
Two of my favorite college football analysts JD and Marc
OMG, Marc…I’m breaking my plans to shut up just to say this was awesome!!Thank you…
Show starts at 5:07. The REAL issue to discuss is why are we losing recruits? And (part 2), how do we fix that?

Awesome show!
JD is the best

I never go to any of the national media to find out anything about the inner workings of SC or any college program not the place to go ever
USC football administration needs to be held accountable.
Are Locked On and On3 related?
Other than me working for WeAreSC.com and the Locked On Network, no.✌
Kiffin and Sark are coaches who would love to play USC again. They have matured and grown in their profession, just like Lincoln Riley. All three coaches serve as cautionary warnings.
No, coach Riley got a core bunch of dudes he recruited to USC that's the family vibe you feel that energy 😉
CALEB NVR HAD THE DEFENSE THOSE GUYS HAD
What we listening for actually
Is there a chance, with all this commentary, that Ole Miss home and home could be put back on?
No,-I wish- but that ain’t happening

USC needs to stop putting out emojis if no one is going to commit.
Exactly. Embarrassing as it shows me the signals are crossed.
It's a silent commit. The kid verbally committed but wants to keep taking visits elsewhere.
@@Talkinsports91 what’s the point. Do they not understand what commitment means. No fans care about it till they sign.

USC is losing Stubbs. USC needs to fix their NIL.
*USuC
Why is USC the only school losing a lot of commitments?
They need to put a limit on what these kids get paid with this NIL business. This is crazy.
This is not what college football is all about. Kids being super rich before they hit the draft is putrid. There is less to fight for.
