I waited 2 Years for that Bird
Just for contex: Master Brightness system is also on the Boeing 787 I’m not sure about the 757 and 767 but its on the 787 as well, the 787’s systems are based off the 777 so there’s a lot of similarity’s between them.
but the 777 is the only one in the sim which has it and is working
@@tompsu9536 Kudo 788 it works, pretty sure same goes for the Horizon 789 and 10
He said in MSFS. He didn’t say any other aircraft lol just in the sim.
@@ronaldjames if you get premium deluxe there’s a 787-10
@@emirberkcatalpnar5325 that is true but I’m a more study level kind of guy
Just one more day and this beauty will be in our hangar!
Yuuuuhhhh
Barring any snags on the way. They said it might be as late as the 30th if something comes up.
@@Quotenwagnerianer Could be but I highly doubt it
@@BjrnJnsson-ro1ni Considering that they haven't even announced pricing and we are supposedly a day before release, I wouldn't be so sure, if I were you.
@@Quotenwagnerianer They haven’t announced that it won’t come out tomorrow either and remember the time zone differences. But guess we’ll just have to wait and see
Excellent video and very useful info! Great to see such flexibility to the cockpit lighting at night in particular.
I wish the Asobo 787 would have had as much detail as this masterpiece! And not forgetting that EFB, that is as useful as it was when it wasn’t on the plane! Thank you for an excellent lesson on lights!
6:37 the runway turnoff lights are mounted on the wing with the landing lights unlike the airbus where it is mounted on the nose.
another usefull video! thank you for upload!
Great video as always. As a matter iof interest what cockpit lights are on or off during cruise phase? Crew preference or lights required for work or resist tiredness?
E, how about a full tutorial series like you did for the 737 series. Those videos were great! They mad a lot of us better functional and safer pilots. I have most all of them saved and still refer back to them as needed.
Can’t wait!
I’m sure one day we will get the cameras available, Asobo seems to be very receptive for feedback and adding new capabilities for devs. It will probably be with 2024
Not sure about that... We are in 2024 and it's been 4 years now that Asobo/Microsoft did not even fix the unrealistic flight model of any aircraft in crosswind. An essential basic feature that was existing 20 years ago in the 2004 version of the simulator... It's because they used (as P3D) the same engine and hard code as FSX... Weird.
Not only that, they did not even fix the ILS and landing visual aids that are crazy everywhere in the sim. This is also not a complicated next thing to do, every other sims for years never had this issue.
So imagine a camera view in the flightdeck...
We're not even sure that MSFS2024 will be different in terms of hard coding because commercially the most important is to keep compatibility with MSFS2020 add-ons. The sim engine is... 20 years old. Of course they did a revolutionnary job for the graphics, world data for landscapes etc... It's not a realistic sim, it's a immersive one. It's not the same. They won't have to question themselves and work on that as the market gives almost no choice to the custommer: Xplane which has poor very outdated graphics but more realistic flight model, or MSFS with great graphics and worldwide ability to do VFR but with not even the most basic features for a flight model. MSFS2020 is like having a Cars or Collin Macrae or Drift game/sim with graphics on steroids but the cars can't drift in any turn...
The matket dictates what must be done or not. And for now, it's like this as MSFS has no real opponent.
Nice video! I found this video looking for information about passenger cabin lights. Suggest to include this on this video ou sepparate video....
Because of this release (and it looks like the FWB A380 isn't too far away either) I'm rebuilding my old pc as my new one has repeated memory access violations issues which I can't find the root cause of.
Something so beautiful about the BA tail fin design
I think the wing lights are useful to detect fuel leak and some damaged wing like event happened Air Transat flight 236 when they couldn't use flashlight to see fuel leak at the time.
Thanks. I love night flying.
747 wen?! seriously though I hope 2024 is really a completed sim and we can get things like cameras to work, that would be dope :)
HYPE have a tail camera working on the H145, so there is a way.
Not really, check what it actually looks like and ask yourself if that's what you want.
Basically, they use a simplified 2D picture of the plane and overlay that onto the syntechic terrain of the G1000. Looks pretty awful if you ask me. And is not really good for any kind of maneuvering, which is what the camera is originally designed for.
*And* it only needs a single image, not three like the 777's camera.
@@A330Driver been flying it for awhile, I agree it's not the best, but pmdg could improve it I'm sure. Thanks for the video by the way.
That was already in FSX PMDG 777 Version 👍
all your videos are definitely worth watching, very informative !
It has nothing to do with the lights but the sounds are way to quiet especially at engine start and takeoff it does not sound like the real 777
Not related to this video : the dev version of the A320 FBW has now the go around proc introduced in the fmc . Would appriciatea video on the subject. 😊 thks
Are they planning to improve the sounds. So many people seem to be complaining about it Captain!
True it can be better
I don’t think the streams capture the sound so good, when using it it sounds better
Just wait for FTSim or something if it bothers you ;)
@@madmaxaviation doesn’t bother me yet 😉
@@madmaxaviationFTsim sounds for captain sim are trash, don't think it'll be any better for pmdg
thank you!
Hi, what do you think about making a video talking and testing Oceanic Procedures with Datalink and SELCAL with the PMDG B777?¿ It would be su usefull 😉
On Sale for $324,999,999.99 at this time😂
I think that is the price of the real aircraft. I remember PMDG doing this a few years ago before an aircraft was actually released. 😂
I have a separate question on the VNAV system and FMC. If all speed constraints are “at or below” in the 777, then how would it handle the “at” or “at or above” restrictions from charts?
Are the integral pnl/flood lights now able to be changed currently?
strobes could be a little more flashy
Debate ends here with the Master switch Boeing wins 🎉
what about cabin lights ?
When talking to ATC, do you need to say each time heavy after the callsign when flying the 777?
Yeah
In America you do, in Europe it is not necessary (only on first time contact). Other regions I'm not sure.
Depends on where you're flying. I'd imagine it'd be quite ridiculous for almost every callsign operating in and out of Dubai to have a heavy or super added behind it. Certainly where I'm from they don't append it
In USA yes. In Europe, no.
Does the PMDG 777 have the Boeing smart sky lighting in the cabin like said so on the feature list or does it not work yet ?
Are there also individual lights for the pedestal and the PFD/MFD area to illuminate them separately, or is the dome light the only way?
It´s a pitty, that the camera system doesn´t work.
Better luck in MSFS2024
Yeah it is a shame, but you can only do so much in MSFS2020 ):
How do we control the cabin lights?
Why are the no smothing and seat and apu starter knobs brown they are supposed to be white right? 0:40
differences of VNAV and FLCH vs manage and open des on a airbus pls
no fancy boeing cabin lighting :(
Do a video about your real job
Is it possible to controll the cabin lights like in P3D?
what a pity for critical camera sys on 777
Thats a . Limitation for MSFS 2020 they had it in p3d and performance wasn’t great mainly because you have render 3 different windows.
i have noticed in the new update the beacon light isn't bright enough. it doesn't reflect on the engines like the real 777 does. i hope PMDG fix it. because the beacon light is very weak during night flying.
Hi...
Ich hätte mal eine frage warum machst du keine Videos auf Deutsch mann könnte so viel lernen von Dir?
from where i can buy this b777-300er??
From PMDG's Website on June 25th (The exact time is still unknown.)
😢sorry we can‘t pay the price of the 777 😂
Strobes are way to soft.
Strobes are barely noticeable
To be honest, i do not like how the aircraft looks from the inside, it's just P3D but then with a nice outside view. Very bad textures inside, outside looks stunning. But Inside is terrible.
You're right . I'm really upset with the MCP flat buttons. They look like already pressed On! .told emi during stream comments he said (they look right as irl ) although I've been into a 777 cockpit irl + P3d. They look way better
@@MostafaMek😢
@@MostafaMek Totally agree with you Mostafa, if you see the way the colors are, its terrible. the displays look like p3d, even the clock looks like p3d. most terrible plane they released.
Thats just how a 777 looks, ive been inside the cockpit many times. No matter what a 777 cockpit will remain the same. You are the first that I’ve seen to complain about its textures + the MCP. I would only understand if you were talking about the sounds.
the sound in the cockpit is completely off, sounds so bad.. what did they do all those years, aside from nothing? @a330driver
