When filming that scene to garner the proper reaction from Tony they had Bobby walk in carrying a big dildo. They filmed Bobby's side of the scene separate from Tony's.
i like to think the importance ov that line, is that tony is being called out on looking "unprofessional" so, the guy was basically just being a dick to tony to make himself appear more powerful, in other words.
@@a_loyal_kiwi88 exactly my thoughts. The whole conversation before this also, carmine made sure tony knew he was well informed about his depression and other mental issues aswell.
I love how Patsy was always the one laughing it up having a good time. And that joke about Bobby and mushrooms... let’s just say I’ve been waiting to use this one for a long time now lol.
Interestingly enough, Bobby was the one who said that he wouldn't mind "smoking mushrooms and collecting government checks" like the Native Americans do during that Columbus Day episode.
Please, huh? Tony never had any respect for this Thing. He's never been in the can, not really. He was the one who stepped over his OWN uncle for the big seat, his father's brother.
Sil’s reaction to Gigi’s joke is one he makes several times throughout the show and it’s wonderful. You can really tell how much he enjoys someone getting their balls broken. Also I noticed when Furio speaks up, Silvio’s expression changes ever so slightly as if he was thinking “the grownups are talking”. Given Furio was newly-minted muscle it makes sense. Anyway, the acting is layered and so brilliant!
Rest in peace, Paulie. Hey, did you hear what I said? The guy said, "Rest in peace Paulie Walnuts. Hopefully you're enjoying heaven in roughly 6,000 plus years. But heh! You can do that standing on your head! 💙" So I said "Rest in peace, Paulie."

Rumor has it Bobby was holding a huge dildo in this scene to make Tony laugh..
When they were filming that scene Steve stuck a black rubber dildo out his zipper and walked in. Tony's laughing is a reaction to the dildo off camera
When filming that scene to garner the proper reaction from Tony they had Bobby walk in carrying a big dildo. They filmed Bobby's side of the scene separate from Tony's.
"A Don doesn't wear shorts" isn't really ball breaking it's legitimate advice from the only real boss on the show
Wasn't that line added because Gandolfini was told by a real gangster in Little Italy? That's what i heard somewhere
Well even Al Capone wore shorts as did the many bosses of Sicily and Naples. On the beach. At the pool. Around the house. Sports etc.
