I recently found out that she is a distant cousin of mine! I feel so happy to know I was related to such a classy and beautiful woman. She also passed a day before my birthday.

Some people age more "gracefully" than others I guess. Plus, she may have had a little cosmetic surgery, but maybe the Italian plastic surgeons are better at it than the ones here in the states, lol.

@FauxReal True for many people, but wealth can increase stress for others. Prolly depends on the individual and the circumstances. Either way, she was definitely a "spicy meatball", lol.

She was so big back in the day that there was a character based on her on the Flintstones , Gina Loadabricks.
She was beautiful inside and out. I her Love movie Crossed Swords 1954 with Errol flynn it was good movie I enjoy it.
She was wonderful. I particularly remember her in that amazing Italian film "That Splendid November". Everything in it is so different from modern movies, especially the depiction of incest.
Gina died yesterday. The world is a less beautiful, less graceful place. Rest in peace Gina.
I didn't know Gina passed away. I didn't see it on the nightly news, hard to believe it wasn't reported. She was very famous for several decades and as stated here was mentioned as a character or mentioned on The Simpson's, the Flintstones, Gilligan's Island and other TV shows.
Of course not, she's not black or other minority.

Gina Lollobrigida definitely is one of the most beautiful women in the entire world. This ITALIAN beauty has probably stolen so many hearts. I know she has captured mine. Dave wants to marry her like so many other men would love to do but never got the opportunity to do so. She's an Italian bombshell. Whew! Whoa baybee!
I "almost" met her once. she was about 10 feet away sitting in a restaurant with Peter Graves, Tony Curtis, and Goldie Hawn.
