Most comprehensive explanation of revenue and expenses in a very easy to understand format. Thank you. Figure extra accounting costs for a 1099, additional FICA costs and health insurance costs without company assistance/coverage and we're talking less compensation than the $2k a week average salary of an employee in trucking. Take care and be safe
Very valid points, all of them. I am in no way encouraging drivers to do a lease or other 1099 position. I'm simply documenting my journey. As for healthcare insurance, it is something that I do not talk about because whether W-2 or 1099, I do not use company offered healthcare insurance. Taxes are different for everyone, but yes, there is the employer contribution of 7.5% for W-2 that does not happen with 1099. There's also the Workman's Comp Insurance.
TH-cam’s doing that thing again where it hides your vids from me. I just re-rang the bell-but I’ve missed pretty much all your new company vids. And now you’re talking about more new changes??? You and NoHippie are starting your own company aren’t you. The Bell-Hip Project. I can see it now... 😉🤣🤣
Having the time stamps available to click & go straight to that point is a cool feature. Hope you’re going well.
I’ve been learning how to make better video content. The time codes making chapters makes it easy to skip or go back to something.

Commodore Hippie with the Fleet? No, although if we did it would be Peterbilts. I’ve got a plan.
