It does the same to its front tyres my Rival MT10 did, swapped the 100k factory oil to 500k and that has made a massive difference. And its still a wheelie machine lol
Awesome video there diffs are awesome never had a issue with my sse buggy and I kick the crap out of it.2 ot 3 people broke shock shafts already hopefully it isn't every truck.Would arrma shocks fit?

@@Moggmodels23 an arrma system is basically the same system you get on the mtx. it just has some more bells and whistles. But the ESC in the MTX and Arrma both put out 150 amps and our hobby wing esc. the motors are so close as well arrmas are 2050kv and mtx is 2000kv and both are the same size. you wont tell a different changing to an arrma system.. if you want to upgrade esc do a max 6 or a castle mamba monster 8s. for motors i know castle has a motor that will fit but you will have to get the 42mm motor mount but thats of you want to go with a censored system. honestly in my hobao plus 2 i have a max 6 and a hobbystar 4092 1450kv motor and its crazy will doing standing backflips with out breaking a sweat. just check the longest can size the mtx will fit i think the 4092 might be to long for the mtx. but they make a bunch of motor sizes. just get the biggest can you can fit and you'll have a lot more torce. Every one i know has had great luck with the hobbystar motors. and they are a good bang for the buck. just dont over heat them when your trying to get the gearing you want to run. that will kill any motor.
Great video. What’s your opinion on battery size and weight. I’m looking at a 6S100c 8000mah that is 986 grams. Is putting this much weight on one side of the vehicle cause the vehicle to be unbalanced. Also, when does the weight negate the extra mAH
if you have 2 6s batteries you can put 1 on either side to balance the truck out. just use 1 at a time and youll have a long run. i you only have 1 on 1 side if you do any jumping it will want to come down on that side

This truck really fills the void in the hcg monster truck segment. I just changed the center diff to 1 million, and it was a great improvement.

Max 5 will be a little overkill. Plus it would hang a lot of the stock esc tray.
