Do you have another channel? Im really impressed by your videos. It feels like you’re not new to this even if this channel is new. btw could you make some videos where you explain the salary cap… because there’s so many ”special cases” it’s too easy to get list imo
This is my first and only channel. I’m pretty established in the NBA space over the past 5 years as a writer, but only recently transitioned fully to digital media. I might do some salary cap explainers later, right now the focus is the upcoming free agency.
Ideally you want to delay being over the second apron for as much as possible. Assuming Tatum and White extend, they will be over the second apron in 2025-26. It’s up to them to decide if they want to be above it the following season as well and have a future draft pick drop to #30.
@@YossiGozlanNBA thanks for the reply. Do think it’s reasoambke they keep most of their core beyond next year? I was thinking they’d have to move 1 piece (say KP), but would that be enough financial relief? Or would they have to move brown?
I wouldn't completely rule it out. In the slimmest of scenarios the Sixers completely strike out in free agency, and get outbid on the trade market for the best available players, they may have to pivot to re-signing their guys and operating as an over-the-cap team. And if that happens, they just may have to re-sign Tobias Harris on something like 2/40 mainly to keep him around for trade purposes.
@@YossiGozlanNBA I respect your content, but there are absolutely ZERO scenarios in which Toby resigns with the Sixers. For his own sanity, not to mention ours.
Good Work keep going!

Good work Yossi.
Thank you! I worked very hard on this one.
@@YossiGozlanNBA And it shows! I wish more people would like and comment to get you channel higher in the algorithm.
If the Celtics are going to dip below the 2nd apron for a year, would it matter if they did it this year vs next year? Or would it not matter?

Good content but as a Sixers fan you are high if you think at this point Harris will be back here. If it does happen the city will riot

Tillman > Kornet imo
I agree, though I don't see either have them having particularly strong markets this summer.
Hope my wolves move on from Kat honestly
It won’t be this year but maybe in a year or two if the Wolves stagnate.
Better move on from Gobert
