- The 18. February is the day The 100 days project begin in 2024. It’s a worldwide thing, where you commit to do a craft discipline for a 100 days. It is totally up to you what you do. This year 2024 is the fifth time I will do the challenge. I have given it some thought, what to do this year. I don't have much time, so I will only do some small mixed media pieces . Perhaps I will change something from weak to weak so it still will be exiting. I will make them and put them in my brass box. All the papers I use in the small pieces are my own gel prints. Every Saturday there will be a new video of the 7 collages for the past week.

I look forward to Saturdays with Lisbeth!!❤️thank you for generous sharing!!
Nice to hear and you’re welcome
Another beautiful week! I love the bleach effect and how you always find a stitch and treasure that matches the pattern!💖🍀
Thanks Machteld
Thank you. I really enjoyed watching your process.
You’re welcome
Thank you so much for sharing. You give me so much creative inspirational ideas. This is my favorite week so far! I love your bleached fabrics and choices of papers, stitching and featured objects. I haven’t worked with the tyvek for a long time so I think I’ll get some out to play with.
Thank you and go for it.
Beautiful
Thank you
Incrível. Adorável.
Grato por sua criatividade e generosidade em compartilhar seu talento.
thank you and you’re welcome
Hi Lisbeth, I love your videos. I also made narrow cards like this for the 100 Day project. Your videos are a great inspiration for me. I will definitely try the idea with the chlorine for black fabric. The fabrics look so great. I'm only on day 40 though, I only heard about this challenge late and I'm a bit behind. But I'm slowly catching up😀Thanks for your Inspiration. Greetings from Germany
Thank you. Just work in the time that suits you, no stress.
I discovered this about black fabric by accident over the years when bleach would get on some black materal. Sometimes it turns that rich orange color sometimes I believe it’s like a blue color, depends on the dyes used to obtain the black. This was a very effective way to use those features to good use in the collage process.

Hello from Beautiful British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦
My daughter put some bleach on an a pair of shorts she "borrowed" from me....the bleach had eaten right through the fabric😂😢
Not so good 😊
Gorgeous. Good timing too - just eating outside for the first time this lovely English Spring day and watching your video. Thanks, Lisbeth.
Thank you and enjoy the nice weather
Thank you!😊 I am not an expert, and have not done controlled experiments with bleach, but I have had some experience with spilling bleach on clothes😉. Different dyes react a litle differently; the fabric you used had a beautiful golden orange color under the dye, other fabrics may bleach to a grey tone, or a blue. I think it depends on the color of the fabric before it was dyed black (or whatever the final color). Using chlorine bleach always has an element of uncertainty. As you pointed out, bleaching fabric can weaken it; when used in laundry, to remove stains but it is diluted with water, so it does not weaken the fabric too much. I am guessing that if dropping undiluted bleach on fabric, the fabric must be washed in water to removed bleach residue. Using bleach on paper? I am guessing that applying a damp sponge will stop bleaching process; the paper may still deteriorate but not as quickly as if left unrinsed. Forgive me if I am telling you, or anyone else, what you already know. As always, I believe your artwork is beautiful and an inspiration. Thank you!
(A few minutes later...I have heard of French knots, but did not know how to make one.. Does it work with different kinds of thread, or best with thread for sewing?
Thank for taking time to explain this. Yes you can do French knots with all kinds of threads but it can be a little more difficult using long haired wool. But just keep practicing that’s the only way to learn to make fine French knots.
@@lisbethdegn-dragenkunst Thank you!😊
Hi and thx again for sharing, I just did not understand what the small orange piece in the middle on day 53?
You’re welcome. The Lille drop shape is made of Tyvek. Not paper or plastic but a thing in between. You can paint it and heat it so it bubbles and makes holes.
Dear Lisbeth, I have a question: You showed these Orange thing with wholes in it. I tried to find out what it is but I didn't understand the words. Only understand that you made something with an iron and you made the wholes. It's so freaking cool.... What is that? And thanks for your videos, I really enjoy your project.
Thank you. It is Tyvek, something in between paper and plastic. You can bye it in sheets or sometimes you get envelopes mad of the product. perhaps I should make a small video on how to use it.
@@lisbethdegn-dragenkunst Thank you so much Lisbeth. I would be happy about a video. It's really amazing 😍✨
