Poor Ben. Poor poor Ben. Hornet infested sketch fest and Ben pulls the short straw. At least Paul has another brother in case Ben doesn't make it. Dang. What fun!!
The short straw was the only one he could reach.
@@grisslebear Ha ha ha! Excellent point there.
Ooooof holy shit lmao
They were paper wasps. They have what resembles a honeycomb nest.
@@grisslebear God only lets things grow until they are perfect.
I Absolutely Love the Family Atmosphere and all 3 Brothers working together ❤️ ❤️❤️ With Mom hanging out with her boy's ❤️
It's really cool how the whole family has come together over the years of the TH-cam channel, it seems like a good unit
Mormons lol.
Hard to complain about rain in a desert
I think you mean it's really cool how a TH-cam channel has grown over the years of a whole family.
Right basically watching his kids grow up along the way
@@jaredkinneyjr When you get rain in the desert .... it's gonna be a butte🤣🚙
As a Beekeeper I feel obligated to point out that those aren’t bees. Bees are wonderful, complex creatures that make honey. Those are wasps, they are just angry jerks with wings!
When even Grandma says 'that's some sketchy crap' you know it's going to be good.
That little rat rod truck is looking really kool now
Was the most HOOPTY SHADETREE SHIT I HAVE SEEN for years
You've got to admit though the lads do produce some entertaining content, doing stuff enough times to guess it right first time.
Time to do some sketchy stuff, doo dah, doo dah, hope we get away with it, oh the doo dah day!
My three sons
This channel is the very definition of do what you love and never work a day in your life. We all know it's hard work, but watching y'all makes it look easy. Thanks!
I want a Fab Rats shirt with that quote from Gramma on it. "that's some sketchy crap!"
Glad to see the oldest brother, James, joining in the fun. Grampa Sherm must have spent a lot of quality time teaching his boys. Seeing brothers working so well together is so refreshing. There are still loving families in this world.
Along with Rory, you guys have turned out to be the most enduringly watchable Utah channel. Thank you for no click-bait or drama- Just quality shop time and occasional derbies. Never change! 500K soon!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
THE TEMERITY!!
This video title is literally click bait, lol.
Cheating death in the face of yellowjackets is not dramatic?
@@ripvanrevs Dramatic in a normal way ;)
They definitely have some horrible clickbait
Truck Guy's will say Simply Beautiful ...........nuff said !
I was watching and thinking "that's some sketchy s*** " and the camera cut to Grandma saying "that's some sketchy crap" . She's a great addition to the channel. Tells things as she see things!
hahha yeah she is, she crack me up when they have to bleep her swear words out then Paul is like "you can't swear on the camera!" hahaha love this family and show.
6:23 Grandma Lolli sums it all up, "That's some sketchy crap, right there."
I really enjoy watching the three brothers working together! It's always good to have a spare! LOL! 🤣
The 3 Rustketeers.
Love your mom. “That’s some sketchy crap” is my new favorite saying.
Putting the doghouse on that truck was an awsome idea. Gives a sleeper look. Can't wait to see it doing some amazing burn outs. I think Michelle should get a turn at reducing the rear tire tread as well.
Agreed, i like the classic open style, though the whole front end look to me is more complete
Your Dad would be sittin up there with the biggest smile on his face watchin his boys workin away. It’s awesome guys, thank you. Hey you really need to dig a French drain along the front of that workshop to run that water off & around the bottom corner. If only Paul knew a crew with a digger! Cheers 😂🍻👍🏻🇦🇺
Hunter just passed me running lmao. That cracked me up. Glad to see all the brother's together working. That is going to be a beautiful Rat Rod. I think that truck would run if it had good battery and new starter. It almost started when it spun faster.
Very cool Paul to see you put a smile on Graydens face just by helping a little.
It is very cool to see all the brothers working together in the shop. This has become my favorite YT channel and II cant wait for new videos and antics everyweek!! Keep up the great work y'all.
First thing I remember being taught was how to crank an engine without getting an arm broke. I was 4 in 1941. Grandpa had a 1928 Farmall Regular tractor he had bought new. Had to hand crank it because starters were not an option. Always pull up on the crank handle because if the engine kicked, it would pull the crank out of you hand. If you were pushing down on the crank and it kicked, you were in a world of hurt. I cringed at 14:15 when the drill/crank adaptor was used.
I swear you guys do the most wildest stuff. No brakes no steering but as Paul would say Got It!
OMG this video has it all bee infection, no brake's on the 2 ton, lost the steering, but everything is coming together on the '42 Chevy truck! I love the way the family all come together and Granna Lolly stays on top keeping her boy's straight! Michelle made a surprise visit and lightened up the video and Graden needed help with his project. Everything is moving forward just not fast enough for the car show.
That truck is a beautiful reminder what our ancestor's drove, Im in Canada and not so many relics like this lying around.
Love the Steve Irwin impression 😂😂😂 from Melbourne Australia
It is so nice to see you three brother working together 😀
You mum is such a nice helping kind person
Hunter definitely deserves a raise in my opinion. His commentary is hilarious.
I think having the three brothers working together is a great idea and definitely a lot of fun.
I really like the progress you guys have made on the truck.
Keep up the great work
How much you gonna pay him, opinion guy commenting on TH-cam?
Very nice. I have two of those old trucks up on the farm in Heber. Little bit better condition, in case you ever need more parts.
Raid Hornet Blaster is the best stuff for them mean buggers. It'll fire a death stream of poison for a good 50 feet when it's new (that lasts for more than 1/2 the can. And it's instant death for those buggers, the bigger and nastier that they can be just makes them easier targets. Love the new/old rod truck , looks incredible with the addition of the parts off the farm truck.
I'm giving this a thumbs up just for the line "I was gonna ride my lawn mower to Chet's, but that ain't happenin'." Graden is the man, and he's going to do big things.
Those were nice looking lodge poles in the truck bed. Don’t forget to restock ‘em up off the ground…..👍🏻
Great video.....lots of creating to get that Ford together. I'm 75 yrs young gal whose father was a restaurant equipment serviceman for 37 yrs. Grew up around a repair shop .. parts.. techs etc. I have always enjoyed watching how things work...or don't! Great show with family.....what's not to like!
Ben said some of the most famous words of Fearless men "What could possibly go wrong?" and Granny following ups with "That's some stenchy Crap right there" was perfect!!!
Paul, we came to your shop on Thursday it is incredible! Your mom is the most amazing woman ever, she was very kind to us and even hooked us up with the merch, a yoda and a stolen mnt dew! We are sorry we missed you! (Couldn’t find you at Trail Hero either 😢) maybe next time!
After the tow truck ya'll need to give the Forklift some love. Or get a telehandler for that 4x4 4-wheel steering crab walking action.
Best line in the whole video is from Grandma Lolly. "That's some sketchy crap right there." Love you guys!
Grandma you raised these boys. Lol 😆 😂 great job 👏 Love see brothers working together does good for my heart.
What could possibly go wrong even just across the street? Y’all are hilarious. Seriously love watching in the shop, on the rock trails and Michelle’s guess the part segments💕💕Thanks for the fun. East Texas
Seeing you working on the rat rod, makes me think of my uncle, he loved cars.
The old bass-turd is in heaven now, and I miss hanging out in his shop
Grams always got a grasp of the situaton... "Thats sketchy CRAP!"...HaHa!

I really admire fb for working with the special citizens of their community. Bens come a long way. Cheers Fabrats
Great video guy's....she's coming along sweet !...... always fun to watch the whole family in on things...even the editor does a walk through once In a while.....lol
Paul, as to the window. get some twine and rap it around the rubber seal. then place it into the dram then from inside pull the twine allowing the rubber to seat into the frame. just go slowly.
I love how you guys share all the small businesses that you work with!
Hunter, great sense of humor, love his commentary! Like that old adage says, 'if a rainbow appears and no one films it, was it really there?' Oh wait, maybe that was something about a tree falling...
It happens Paul. Sometimes the little things take longer than the big stuff.
Love having Ben on the show, quiet competence ànd a wide smile. Also nice to see the other Cox brothers get stuck in. Building up dads tow truck really should involve all the boys as it is a fitting tribute to their father. Cheers.
The locking strip goes in last on the window. Put the rubber gasket on truck or glass some are different on that. Rope or pick the glass in and after it’s in then that locking strip goes in. They are a major pain if you don’t have the tool for it and a lot of soapy water is your friend when installing rope in gaskets. And the front clip really made that truck
I think you could watch a Robby Layton video on the nugget roping in some glass. At least I think it was on the nugget...
Love how you fellas work together, that rainbow was awesome .God certainly had his paintbrush out .😃
Ben's a great brother. He'd do anything for Paul, even sit in a bee infested truck cab LOL! I'm glad that you guys gave up on starting the engine as that drill starter motor look like a good way to break an arm. And the cardboard fire shield was hilarious! Never would have guessed it would catch on fire 🤣
Well, the convenient part was that if the cardboard fire-shield lit up, Ben could run out and stand in the rain!! 👍
I really enjoy watching you and your brothers rag on each other. Good clean entertainment.
Paul it’s too bad the truck was painted black already!!! I think it would have looked much better with the whole truck had all that old patina look just like the new fender setup!!! That would have definitely made that truck look awesome for sure!!! But I definitely love that front end look!!! Very awesome buddy!!! Now you just need to find some cool fenders for the rear and it should be looking even better!!! The chrome on the front fenders definitely set it off for sure!!! Awesome job guys!!! Remember keep up all the hard work guys!!!!!
The picture of the Cornet with the rainbow in the background is beautiful!
Those are wasps or yellowjackets. Not bees. Bees are friends. Wasps are assholes.
Not all bees, the little black bumblebees are the worst, wasp killer dont work on them either

She was fun watching this all over again. It’s been a long time ago. Need to have you both your brothers on again sometime in the future Paul come along way with the shop looks good.
Put the big gasket around the metal frame, get a hook tool or flat head, get bottom of the glass in place and work the gasket around the window starting on both sides working your way to the top middle evenly gently pushing on glass. After glass gets in place you should have a place for small strip that goes in big gasket but that requires the threading tool for that.
Hopefully that was understandable and helpful lol. Also spray glass cleaner or wd while putting small strip in. Maybe see if the local glass shop will let you watch how they did FJ and should have been about the same process.
Is there some trick were you put a thin rope in first, and the after the glass is in you pull the rope out ans it seals the window? I saw it on some auto body show decades ago, but never fully understood as if something doesn't fit or work for me I just get a bigger hammer lol.
21:40 you gotta pay one of the kids to dig a moat around the shop to stop the leaks, just put some sheetmetal over it and youre golden
I love the 2 WD rat rod. Nice to see one for the pavement. You're lucky to get as far as you did between the 42' bee issues and home made crank start. Could of been in the hospital with both.
I chuckled about this video, Paul and Ben open with … we need to get the 42 put together for the car show… let’s go get parts… next half day spent trying to get the parts truck to fire off! I can totally relate!!!😅
Solid look, can't wait to see more progress.
I find myself smiling through all your shows. Thanks
Paul face was precious as he was running away from bees 🐝 , be careful my friend
Beecareful 😂
You guys should wear your full welding gear when around bees! Better protection than just a can of spray!
Paul isn’t scared he’s just moves really really really fast is all. Paul is basically Macgyver and Macgyver wasn’t scared of anything. Not sure what that makes Ben though 🤔
I have used Brake cleaner for bees. They don't keep coming at you, they will drop right where you get them. Hornets and yellow jackets can go to the bee Valhalla.
The neighbors must be used to seeing all sorts of weird stuff rolling down that road.
Paul driving the fork lift down the road, and waving to the guy driving the backhoe......love Smalltown, USA!!!
@@richardraleigh6490 They did put him on the local Glendale "city" council though...
My Dad is his next door neighbor and thinks it’s soooo cool his neighbor is a TH-cam star! He absolutely loves these guys.
You know what... take a chance. Take it to the car show as "A Fab Rat's work in progress" I think that with the amount of fans watching this that people would LOVE IT! 💌 They can then say "I saw this Awesome Truck while it was being built" It's perfect. Don't just show people the finished product, show them what all has to be done!. I for one would love to see it just like it is. If I didn't live so far away in Kentucky I would drive a couple of hours to see it just as it is. Love this channel! The Content, the family atmosphere, the projects, It's all about creating a beautiful machine and the love behind it. Amazing !!!
Morning Fab Rats Family!!
Another bunch of FAMILY shenanigans in the shop ❤️❤️
(makes my day seeing you all working together)
Nice to see the little truck coming together
(I'm sure TumaloDave and Sherm are smiling down on y'all 🙏👼👼🙏
You'll have her done for next year's car show❣️)
Safe travels friends ❤️❤️
Stay FROSTY...
Keep your powder dry and your head on a swivel...

I like slow and steady. Things always come out better that way.
Love how Grandma sits back and watches her boys and their shenanigans. Old days she probably had a pocket full of bandaids now she has packing tape from the Rat Shack to address the wounds.
I’m a big fan of older type clothesline, plastic coated strands, then wrap around the window hold it outside and from the inside pull to pull the gasket to the inside. TH-cam has several! 🙏😎🤙
Brake cleaner makes real good wasp exterminator! Thanks for the laughs !!
Get sand bags and put them in front of the doors on the rainy days. When the water flows away, move them out of your way.
Loved the video guys can’t wait to see more progress keep it coming
Man alive… I live on Canada’s West coast, also known as the “Wetcoast” and you guys are getting WAY more rain than us, like way more. Think Seattle. Dry times up here.
HEY! Good morning Rats!

Greetings from Ireland WOW that front end looks fantastic well done
You guys are awesome! Love the spirit of the whole deal & the team work. Takin' it one day at a time or like my daddy use to say, " takin' er steady by jerks like a frog walkin'". hahaha....You know, take a hop, look around to see if all is good & then take the next hop!! 😀
If your rubber seal on the bottom of your overhead door in the shop is the style that makes like a loop or is hollow in the middle or whatever you could try run a chunk of garden hose through the middle of the seal and it might help seal the door better.
Man if it was me I’d be in that shop 24/7 with my dad. When it’s gone you really regret not doing it. My dad passed in ‘03 and ever since I just wish I did more with him rather than wandered around with my hands in my pockets dreaming about girls.
I've worked with my dad everyday for 25 years best friends. When he got cancer it got me. Wish you had more time with yours
Exactly right man but he’s just like yea okay like we was, you only realize and learn that lesson once it’s already happen to you. Me and my worked together ever since I was a little kid and when I got out of school I worked full time for him, he passed away two years ago and everyday I got to work without him I miss him more and would do anything to have him back just one time, we did roofing and now Every roof I do I always say man just one more roof together. Im starting to redo roofs he did 35 years ago too that’s pretty cool.
RAT ROD LOOKS AWESOME WITH THE TRUCK FRONT END GRILL ETC
Wow!! what a beautiful thing to do with your brothers! + the mom always comes with food..!! This is the good life!
I really love this show it’s full of excitement and laughter and cool buld ideas in all a great show and a great learning experience keep up the great content thanks from Ben G walla walla wa
Paul, you should try Weather Defender Original Ultimate Garage Door Threshold Floor Seal 20'8" Including Two Adhesives to seal the rain out of your shop.
On that window wrap a dish soap soaked Cord around the rubber gasket. Pull the two ends from inside vehicle while pushing lightly. Let the Cord pull the gasket around and seal
it is so F n AWESOME you all get to hang with family as you make money! truly blessed, congratulations. and BTW another epic video, great to see!
regarding windscreen; put seal around seal lip of screen, goop up seal, run a cord/ string appropriate to seal channel width around screen seal with overlap at the bottom,( my preference) place screen on body from outside, person on inside and person on outside apply appropriate pressure / tension while in the cab you pull the cord/ string over lip. Some 'light persuasion' from a rubber mallet may be required .
Best.
I could watch those three boys mess around with junk for hours - all the fun but without the aching back and busted knuckles. Grandma's comment needs to be immortalized on a shirt!
At 4:16, that critter crawling on the inside of the right side windscreen is NOT a bee. It is a WASP, a "Yellow Back", so called because of its colouring. Bees and wasps are quite different creatures, with wasps generally being the more vicious variety.
Look up garage door rain stopper or threshold seal. It glues down and should stop your rain issues in the shop. I saw it on Amazon and also on home depot.
"Neutral" Absolutely love it lol.
Paul's mini me is one cool little kid. Give him a wrench and happy kid.
Grandma, my boys and their toys. LOL. Love the new look on the truck.
you boys make me laugh. thanks for that. :) i wish that my brother and I could get along as well as you all do. cheers to more good times.
i need the steering column out of your van. :) the one parked near the shop looks like a late 80's model chevy/gmc.
Paul when I had my farm I used to squeeze a lot of apples. When I first did it I was very apprehensive about the yellow jackets hanging around the filling sink. After a few times I started filling my own jugs. That's when I found out they were all drink on fermenting apple juice- Cider.
It must be great for mom to have all her boys here
While it's important to have the basics in order to undertake a project like this ( ie: a generous, well lit, comfortable structure; access to an impressive bone yard; experience with and the right tools), there is nothing more important than an overabundance of positive energy by those doing the work. It's the key to success!
I love watching the two of you work together. Brotherly love.
Paul,Ben,Jim,Michelle and Grandma, you are some of the nicest people I would like hang out with. Love your youtube channel. When you guy’s put your minds together to make something happen you don’t mess around.Keep up the great work and videos. God Bless you and thanks for sharing.☺️☺️❤️❤️❤️👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
That door reminds me of my 52 Studebaker Farm truck I bought from a Dairy Farm The Passenger Door had a whole swarm of Honey bees in it and the Cone was full of Honey and workers. We saved the queen and most of the bees.
Two things:
1. I like Ben's previous shirt better than the new one.
2. Glad to see you are getting some rain. Hopefully Lake Powell will start filling back up.
