The best part of this is Nat's expression while Cap is talking. She looks like she's wondering if she left the oven on (1:15), then front kicks him off the roof, then it's back to finding Cap a date. It makes me laugh every time.
"I'm multitasking" ~Natasha in Age of Ultron
I'll never not get goosebumps whenever Sam lands and retract his wings with the music blaring. Falcon is one of many my favorite superheroes. And seeing him on the big screen with this entrance hit a tender part of me. He like Cap have always inspired a "you can do it too!" Within me. Keeping me going everyday. No matter the job, living conditions, or status. I can still do it. And inspire others to get out there and do it.
Falcon is now in my fab list
@Radikal 🤣lmao
@Radikal he can be in both lists 😎🤪
@Radikal fr I was like what 💀
Falcon was such an underrated character. I'm glad that he got to be Captain America.
Could you imagine how cool and useful those three helicarriers would’ve been during the final battle in endgame? Granted Thanos would’ve probably called the reign fire protocol from his capital ship to wipe them out... but it still would’ve been cool to see.
"Lip-piercing... I'm not ready for that."
Cap's accepting and not judgemental, but he's still a little old-fashioned, whaddya want 😄
What if the Falcon flies in from the other side of the building, and is like "Hey guys are we ready"
Lol
2:49 when He says "a few million at a time" he sort of quivers when he delivers is as though it scares him too. really shows what they were planning, if even one of the bad guys is afraid of the plan.
He got scared because he realized he's one of the people on the list.
*2024: Just saying... 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' is still my favorite movie. Can't win that!*
Why does this make me emotional after watching the finale of Falcon and The Winter Solider.... 😭
The finale will b released next week tho. How did u watch it?
Started from there, now he's the captain america
*Just witnessed the New Captain America's First Flight and it was a masterpiece*
For some reason I've always loved his wings over his casual shirt. It just feels weirdly genuine
2:25 In Cap’s mind-
“What the heck are the SAT’s?”
All the modern details that steve is still learning lol
1:31 This was the best way to Introduce Falcon!
He’s not as popular or powerful as the OG Avengers or characters like Spider-Man and Wolverine, But he was still an important hero to the Marvel Universe. And this scene portrayed that while making Falcon look more badass than in the comics! Perfectly set up how significant Sam Wilson would be in the MCU’s future back then. And now He’s our new Captain America
1:52 Moon Knight reference

@@j1playz309
Apparently Moon Knight is also a news anchor in Cairo.
@@chimpwimp9407 ah right, cheers bud
Falcon came a long way from here to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Damn, I see the exact same comment from someone else just right below yours, and it was made at the same times as yours too.
Oh, I'm not saying you stole someone's comment. Just surprised for the coincidence.
One thing I really loved about The Falcon And The Winter Soldier was that it had the same serious tone as this movie, natural humor and no forced jokes, something which is very rare in the MCU
Rare during Phase IV. Natural humor, serious tones, and more human character development were the secrets of the MCU's early success in theaters and on TV.
Zola’s algorithm looks at the past to predict people’s futures
Facebook: “lol we already have that”
In Sam’s first mission for Captain America, he calls up a government agent to threaten him into an interrogation. Dude was really ride or die no questions asked from the get go
We all missed the Steven Strange and Highschool student reference signaling Spidey and Doctor Strange
It wasn't Spidey, he said "a high school valedictorian in Iowa City."
Amadeus Cho not Peter
Amadeus cho is from Arizona. The only character I can find from Iowa was Ethan Edwards/ Moral Man (who is essentially the marvel equivalent of Superman)
Anyone notice that he mentions Dr Strange?
First time I heard it

@@kb-tm2hm who’s the high school valedictorian
@@nickshelton8423 peter parker?
@@Isiauwuehrifi Can’t be, he said highschool valedictorian in Iowa, Peter’s obviously from Queens
Man it's not too over the top, but falcon had such a cool intro scene. This is the first time he's ever seen with the wings
I know Stephen Strange was just mentioned as a tease but I wish I had a good answer for how a (at the time) rich and self-centered surgeon would be a threat to Hydra.
Zola knew about all the weird mysticism Red Skull, Hydra and the Nazis were into. If the cosmic cube was real, why couldn't magic?
He was a brilliant surgeon even then.
@@adams3627 Yeah but it's not like the zola algorithm could predict Strange getting into a terrible car accident and then going to Nepal or wherever tf to learn to become a sorcerer. Him becoming a sorcerer later definitely had nothing to do with whatever actual reason they'd have to list him as a threat.
@@orangejuiceearrape eh. In the real world, definitely not. But we’re playing by movie-logic rules here. I’d totally buy the algorithm predicting that his arrogance would lead to him being horribly injured and then seeking outré methods to recover his abilities, if not outright sorcery. Imagine if he bumbled his way into making a pact with Dormammu before he made contact with Mordo and the Ancient One?
@@adams3627 That's a fair point. I still think it's a massive stretch for the logic MCU movies usually try to follow, but I guess it's more likely to realistically happen than Endgame's time heist ever was so I can't complain too much lol
1:25 - The best part of this scene is Nat talking about Steve’s love life after kicking Stilwell off the roof.
If Marvel had come to an agreement with Sony for Spider-Man back then, then Peter would’ve been name dropped here as well.
0:56 hi, john walker, captain America, might have heard of me
Wow! He even said about moon Knight. Moon knight has multiple personalities to keep his identity safe and one of his identity is TV anchor in cairo that was a really a good detail
So now that ppl are coming back to this from falcon and winter soldier, who’s the “valedictorian in Iowa” ? The man in Cairo is moon knight n we got the other ones but idk who the one in Iowa could be.

They say this is the worst kind of way to interrogate someone. You follow through on the threat? You get nothing. You don't follow through? The bad guy knows you're bluffing. But these guys? Push the guy off and then catch him, proving that you WILL throw him to his death and make him sing like a canary.
I love how in the entire movie nat tries to find Steve a date. She is a great wing girl.
I like sitwells plan here, he calls out Steve Rogers for not really being a killer (even tho he is we see that in this movie) as if black widow a known and trained assassin isn’t standing right next to him and clearly on his side and willing to kill Sitwell lol.
2:21
Steve is like "I think I know what half of those are ..."
*Algorithm sees Dr. Strange's test scores*
Sitwell: "Holy crap, the predictor shows he'll turn into a... wizard?! Don't know how, but CODE RED!"

2 captain America’s in one spot
0:19 The funny thing is Sitwell actually did correctly look at his 10 o'clock, but Sam was nowhere near there, it was more like his 7 o'clock lmao
I just realized Hydra would have doomed the planet long before Thanos if they got their way. Steven Strange was a target. No strange, no Dormamu I’ve come to bargain.
I'm surprised no one really talked about Dr Stranges name drop here when this released, or if they did I don't remember it. But weird that Hydra even knew about Stephen?
tbf, he was the best neurosurgeon on the planet, well-known for his cocky character and unwillingness to follow dumb orders

the dr strange movie was announced 2 months after this movie released
In fairness he was name dropped in Spider-Man 2 back in 2004 as well

Fun fact: Anthony Mackie was disappointed with the Falcon custom in this movie and wanted the red colored spandex from the comics. Marvel listened and upgraded his custom in Civil War.
