The American trumpeter Chris Botti (1962) gives an elegant rendition of the 'Concerto de Aranjuez' (Adagio), the masterpiece of the Spanish composer Joaquín Rodrigo (1901-1999).

I had had a passion for great trumpet playing all my life; I have a few favorites of course, but Chris is one of my favorites, I love the way he controls the volume of his breathing and blowing on his horn, he can make the tone flow in and out from soft to loud and back to soft, which demonstrates great control! Thank you for posting this beautiful piece of music, the orchestra is superb as well, and the video is a very artistic presentation. Very nice.
