- Bucky Lasek is a name a lot of you have probably heard for a long time - but for many different reasons. Starting out by making a name for himself with a skateboard, Bucky’s side hobby has been cars for a long time. But somewhere around the mid to early 2010s, Bucky found himself as a professional driver - behind the wheel of a factory Subaru rallycross car. After a few years being a pro wheelman, Bucky had to get back into a Subaru of his own.

I've got an old Gallwing shirt he was wearing at a demo in St Louis Missouri him Tony Hawk and Andrew Reynolds all signed it for me I need to find it.
I was probably only 12 years old and he gave it to me off his back after the demo

@@Barrenchats There's a bunch. Price is going up on them though. I bought mine low milage no rust for 4k 6 years ago. Now they go for 6-7k in that condition. Just swapped in an 06 wrx engine with a grimmspeed downpipe

Evo RS FTW! my '05 white car was so much better than my stage 3 VA STi I just sold lol. I saw a 911 RS America going down the 580 freeway in SFBA when I had my Evo brand new and I was like yep...that's what the engineers were gunning for
the wheels look amazing. just a simple, flat-styled five-spoked. no bullshit or deep dish. It really makes the white car work.
Such a well done car, love how the interior has been upgraded and not running some obnoxious exhaust. The body work flows so well with those wheels
This is one of my favourite Subaru builds, and it gets driven the way it was built to drive you can guarantee that. Good job Bucky.
I met Bucky at a Subie event a few years ago and the guy seemed so down to earth. Really got a good vibe from him. That was the summer before Subaru let him go too. He knew it was coming and I could tell he was sad. Still, love that he is still a die hard Subaru guy! Beautiful build Bucky!

A dude I met one time at a meet in San Diego used to date his daughter and he told me how they used to go off roading a Bucky would Rip and it was so fun. I just sat there thinking like dang what I gotta do to have Bucky rip me on some backroads. But I also did meet and talk to him at a meet once really cool and humble always blessed to meet people of his stature that are humble forever grateful for that moment 🙏🏾
Bucky is the man. From way back being my #1 dude in thps to now inspiring me to fix my car a black 1999 Subaru Gc8 coupe in black that has been in pieces for a decade. I doing a similar build but with a eg33 from a svx tied to a dccd five speed with sti Brembos to stop it. The suspension is 100% tssfab made tubular subframe. Just a pile of parts right now but I got that same vision as Bucky I’ve had this car forever it seems it has been off the road for most of its life and countless people have to told me to sell it. I had the car when I was on welfare I’ve had the car towed from rent to rent until I bought my first home. I can’t wait to get that car through the back woods of Connecticut

I remember seeing this car a couple of weeks ago at the top of Mt Palomar, it was parked next to a bunch of BMWs and Porsches. This car had my full attention to the point that i dont remember much of the other vehicles that were around it. Thanks for sharing.
