Thank you for this very complete and very educational video. I just bought the Home Assistant Green box with the Sky Matter key, but I want to switch to Homebridge. Can I reset this box and integrate Homebridge instead? THANKS
Hi, thank you for the detailed video but somehow it is not working for me. I’m using Raspberry Pi 4 with NVMe SSD storage. After holding the blue and red buttons for 10 seconds I can see Yellow light blinking at a regular intervals. Even after 4 - 5 hours I still can see Green and Yellow lights blinking without stopping. When I try to access the home assistant server url it is never launching at all. All the time I’m receiving an error. Please share your expertise to fix my issue. Background: I have moved to a different location and I have deleted the old server after I never able to access the home assistant UI and not able to login to home assistant. Thank you in advance!
@@BeardedTechGuy Thank you for the reply, I’m able to figure it out. It is because of my internet issue. I thought I’m receiving the internet by looking at a study Yellow light blinking. After going through the home assistant documentation able to identify and fixed it.
I tried this process and it does not work. I have the CM4 and NVME and when I follow the steps my HA Yellow just goes back to the login screen asking me for a UN and PW which I don't know
Tried your procedure, but after ineerting the usb drive and inserting the power lead, the red and green led come on, after about 20s the green one goes out and nothing happens anymore. Tried both usb ports any ideas?
Mate, you are a legend. My Yellow just crashed after the latest beta release. Using your flash drive reset method I have got it going again :)
I'm glad you found the video helpful!
same reason I'm here right now after the new 2024.10beta release. Lol I just watched your new video on that release as well

What LEDs light up on the side of the HA Yellow after holding the red and blue buttons down within 3 seconds of reapplying power?

Do you know how to Factory Reset Home Assistant Green?
These steps should help you: green.home-assistant.io/guides/reset/
Yeah, for whatever reason after following these steps exactly, the unit will not factory reset.
