Love wine/burgundy bags and shoes. It’s such a versatile and classy color - black, brown, grey, navy, beige, olive, pink, etc - it looks great with all these tones and delivers a pop of color while still being subtle.
Wait… the Celine Eloise bag… 😍 ugh oh.. I may have to try that one in person because it looks like it could be the most perfect bag of all time 😅🔥 I’m actually very very curious to see what the next few installments of the Gucci horsebit clutches will be, because on the runway it looked as though that green exotic touch serpenti version was going to be reissued so we shall see 🤓 And I too have an Alexander McQueen clutch from probably 2013!! Very here for us busting them out and giving them the comeback they deserve!!
Love love love your take on quiet and loud, nice to see individualism and some eccentricity as well as designers being influenced by other factors not just form following function!
I have been waiting for cos to release a minimal crossbody (phone, keys, cardholder, lipstick) for ages now. Still kicking myself for not getting the one they had 5-ish years ago that flew off the shelves never to resurface ever again. And that Loro Piana bag = Longchamp Le pliage cosmetics bag, anyone?
really obsessing over the new Bottega hop small, in the special edition BRIGHT red they did for MATCHES. Which, I'm not usually a red bag or non-neutral girl.
Wait… the Celine Heloise Bag looks truly perfect 👀😍 I may need to be trying that very soon… truly as you said the perfect size perfect shape, and I know how much you love your Ava so this is a wonderful sister to that style 🥹 I’m soooooo curious to see what the next Gucci Horsebit releases will be and secretly am hoping they drop that green exotic touch version with the serpentine horsebit details 🤯 And I too have an Alexander McQueen clutch!!!! Very here for us busting that out and giving it the love it deserves 🥹🙏🏼
Yess the Ava needs a big sister lol!! Yeah I think maybe bc I know the puffer lambskin styles are too delicate for me, but the Tom Ford era ones are simply iconic! I hope they re-release some of those styles too. McQueen is so due for comeback👑 ❤
I feel like the Gucci Horsebit’s reception will be similar to when the Dior Saddle bag got re-released.. it’s a look that people will grow to like the more they see it ◡̈
Another great video, thank you. I too am intrigued by the new Gucci collection, I actually really like it. I thought most of the collection from the recent show was wearable. I was just in the Ganni store and they had a few bags that were cool and reasonably priced. I liked the Bou bag but ended up getting the Knot bag. Super low key, but kind of great to bring for travel and something easy to carry for an evening bag. Always prefer the Celine...and I love that bag you featured, gonna have to check it out. Anything from Phoebe yet? FYI, I tell all my friends about your videos, raving about your fashion knowledge. Keep em coming.
Ohh I love Ganni, I have a dress and I'm reminded I should pull that out. I need to check out Ganni because I was impressed with their quality. PP should have her collection online Oct 30🤞 Ahh thank you so so much❤❤❤
I am still thinking of the Margaux 17 although it’s not a shoulder bag. I made myself a promise never to buy another bag that is not a shoulder bag. Am I going to keep my promise?
Lol at the Friends reference😂 It’s also the acid green and burgundy, it was a combo for that era. I do think the rumours are true about Alessandro Michele and Fendi. Compare this years resort collection to last💀
To be honest it seems like most bags don’t “age” well other than a few handful. So the solution is to either pony up for a classic flap or birkin/kelly, or else to opt out of the psychology of in vs out entirely and just wear what you want. I’m currently considering a croc embossed Sac de Jour even though people say it’s dated.
Hey girl. I love red, but not as brave to wear it a lot, but I was intrigued with the Olsen twin who was wearing a sexy red Manolo B shoe with an outrageous gold ankle bracelet? I thought Hell Yeah, but I found a sexy pair of red leather loafers with a gold buckle. That's it , that's my comfort zone, but I am gonna rock it lol. Thanks luv your posts.
I can't get behind the new Gucci bag. Too retro. I was never into the Dior Saddle either. I see the Jennifer Anniston/Rachel Green style comparison and she wore the Gucci clutch on Friends
I think that the mormont GG belt as GG camera bag will stick there (like YSL Lou). And like few years ago, I was reading some articles comparing the prices since the relase of bags (CC Classic flap, Kelly, Birkin) even Antigona had small increase, Peekaboo had almost 100% (for the reference, Birkin was at 170%, and Kelly 550%), but YSL Sac du jour was -5%. So, I don't think that YSL price increase was that bad (it is also probably Kering thing not to increase much, but also LVMH is not pushing, like Givenchy is also there not increased, and if you ask me there is so much potential to Givenchy to really rival YSL) Anyways as some YSL bags stand like Kate, Lou, Sac...and GG Marmont camera seems like YSL camera, and I see both people wear still. Gucci under Tom Ford was my fave ofc, but Michele was the wild child, he had this aestethic that was kinda iconic ( I know, Gen Z totally abused this word) so I think actually Dionysus will be fun to watch what will happen, I belive it is done for know (even if in IMO is probably the most artistic and the most beautiful Gucci bag, and I hate canvas both Gucci or LV it is apparently as I joke the highest quality arisanal French/Italian plastic) as it is not Horsebit or Jackie classic, but it gives me that luxury vibe and IMO it could be style quite versatile and interesting and ofc iconic because it will always represent Michele era. But this new - old bag is interesting, I like that that brands are doing, like Mulberry did with Alexa, they offer old bags, kinda updated, I really like this, and Prada did this too, and I am in (I hate Celine discontinuing Phoebe Philo's bag, they could just kinda updated them, especially Classic and belt one, not sure if belt is gone, Box it is, but both are so easy and timeless and so effortlessy chic that is the shame really) just don't like this green red theme that loud (it is ok for the sneakees or shirt) kinda wish there were more options but they might probably give that, this is also IMO reason why they were selling that good, they always had options that gave more suptile or more loud look, and enough colors. I don't like Spice Girls short era, I do get some styles, like shorts and coat, but some dresses from the runway would be so so pretty especially the dresses if they were more longer. I don't think gen Z is like millenials and X in terms of shorts, a bit of this and there Hailey Bieber throwy but that's it and those are grown up now to the point that they won't wear this. But I can see some potential. I wish I knew what happened that Michele left, they in Kering must know that he cuadrupled the sales and made the miracle and ofc not even Apple or any company, firm, start up will hold the initial boom and growth at this level and at some point market will face saturation that is normal because Gucci was wild. P.S. O and I like every single hobo bag out there, Bottega ofc, and there is one from Givenchy that I like, it is kinda right size but the leather seems too overdone, too perfect, too sensitive. Sorry for the long comment. I just find this Gucci/Michele interesting.
Yes I think it will be interesting to see the evolution of Gucci. I agree there are definitely some bags that these brands just need to keep. Agree there is so much potential for Givenchy but they haven't quite figured itself out since Tisci left. I do think when I look at Matthew Williams for Givenchy pieces individually they are very nice, but I don't feel like they are part of a larger story. Which isn't always necessary, but Givenchy has the potential to be that kind of brand of dreams. Also a fan of hobos too. Thank you so much for watching and sharing❤
@@MarysRoom Yes Givenchy is.. but I think also it is a corporate thing, and that is now happening to Celine, they are trying to make new Balenciaga/Gucci and aiming youngers who apparently prefer to spend on Taylor Swfit's concerts. As I said, in general gen Z is just not there yet, but as youngsters spend more on luxury items and older on luxury trips and healthcare, it is what it is. Hedi IMO make great bags, I love 16 and Sac du jour, but..for instance this collection.. he is actually living in Europe and he must now how french/parisian is pasé here, and that improved version for grown ups for seasons now is Copencore, as for Copenhagen, that is the most stylish city now (and he is trying to mix this with everything for youngsters, and this style is already mix of basics with color blocking, and the contrast with the shoes, short items done better then he did, the only good thing he did was adding romantic touch but his executive way.. could have so much better, so I just think the corporation is aiming younger because otherwise I don't get it, CopenCore is obviously inspiration, but the original is better, more mature, more grown up.. and that style is now envolving and moving to Portugal, using their prints, it is new europan hot spot... Givenchy, totally. I think Tisci is comming with his brand too, he said it will have gothic elements. He has potential to be unique. But Givenchy IMO should be on YSL level, aim this public, and a bit more focused. I generally can say they are a good brand, I like them and they are so underrated, but kinda dying they need something.

You are so right. Wine red goes with so many colours🍷❤

Great List. I like your choices. Love burgundy red. Love celine bags too. Thanks for Sharing.
Thank you so much Irene❤❤❤
Immediately thought of the Alexander Wang Rocco bag when i saw Valentino one. I wonder if that will ever make a come back.
OMG! Yes I totally forgot about that! maybe👀
Love love love your take on quiet and loud, nice to see individualism and some eccentricity as well as designers being influenced by other factors not just form following function!
Yes! Exactly❤❤❤

Love the Hop, it's such an updated BV classic❤
great selection. I like your choices.

Great point!! It's all in the marketing❤
Loving the Red trend ❤ like you said it hasn’t been done in a while…
Yes, its so refreshing and unexpected. Thank you for watching❤

Yes there is something about that combination is so that time period!
The Valentino bag looks dangerous. It’s very now, but I don’t think it will age well.
To be honest it seems like most bags don’t “age” well other than a few handful. Definitely dangerous. I tried it on in person, while it was so cool, I knew it wasn't for me. But I think the right person can rock it❤

I love the unexpected pop of red in a show. Yes to the gold details❤✨

i bought the teen jodie!
Congrats❤❤❤

The new Gucci Jackie clasp is not my fave.. it’s verrry similar to the clasp used on Rebecca Minkoff bags which is on a lower price level. Sad
I’m watching Mary but I’m loud luxury style 😂😂😂😂
Love it❤❤❤
first.
