- Emir came to the Regal Gentleman Studio for a haircut, and was concious of a high hairline. He gave Dan complete freedom and they worked together to give a haircut that was balanced and easy to style.

We need more high hairline or reciding hairline content. Its really hard to handle the tought of your your hair is reciding, but when you see really nice haircuts, it motivates us and gives power to fight with depression from reciding hairline
i think dan gregory is one of the best barbers ive seen not a one trick pony with just skin fades and short hairstyles the amount of tips ive took off his videos and ive been a barber for ten years the knowledge this man has is unbeleivable right down to his consultation with the client! brilliant work mate keep the videos voming so i can take more tips haha tip bloke

Dan is honestly so dedicated to his craft... he spent like 5 mins just discussing what he's going to do and really finding out what would look best for his face/hair texture... most places just butcher you in the first 30 seconds and leave you depressed.

Dude came in with longer hair that looks a bit receiting and went away with shorter hair that look like he has a full head of hair. Dan is truly a wizard.
Dan is just showing off at this point lol, his skills never cease to amaze me, that technique to create more height, the top doesn't look as heavy and he still has more than one styling option, beautiful. Wish i could get a haircut from Dan while i still have hair to work with, it would be kind of a meeting the final boss challenge lol
I’d like a haircut from him too, and I’m a female in every sense of the word. The hairdresser I’ve used off an on for about the last ten years has actually cut it once when I actually loved my hair. And I have great hair, not at all difficult to work with. I’m back to thinking I’ll let it grow out and I’ll wear it up. So so frustrating. Wonder if he’d come to Texas?

I think the green comb is great to provide contrast so you can really see the hair coming through. Great haircut too, of course.

As someone who has been slowly receding for the past 15 years and is now a master of recession detection (an unwanted skill lol), he may be in the very early stages of receding. Literally only just though, and even that it may just be his natural hairline. Regardless, sick cut!
I mean, it doesn't really take an expert to detect recession. Pretty sure anybody can spot that. Ofc personally experiencing something like that helps.
@@vishalchidambaram1064 it doesn't take an expert if somebody has their hairline on show, no. But when you can detect it via downward hairstyles, varying fringe length and a whole host of other quirks 'normal' people would never even think about, that's the unwanted skill.

can you please do a video on how to cut boys hair that's extremely thick? my clippers wont go through my sons hair without catching. Even our barber has trouble and has to wet it slightly. he likes it very short on sides and just slightly longer on top.
Wahl senior clippers will get through them. Theyre powerful, take short strokes and clean the blades between strokes so theres not cut hair clogging them
Absolutely amazing. When u are connecting using horizontal sections are you connecting each section down to a stationary point or are you connecting into the previous section?
I’m wondering the same, when the horizontal sections from the top connect to the side it’s a mild disconnection yet blended, right?

I had mine cut for a part a few months and it looked great but then when I didn't do anything with it...not so much. Mine doesn't behave as well as this guy's.

Was just wondering, I have learned my self from youtube to cut hair and Im definitely learned much from you here. One thing I have thought about for some time now, when you use the razor to lighten up the hair and make it easier for it self to get some volume, can you use I straight razer? I started from the barber side, skin fades, short hair and basic sections and beard but now I want to learn more. Dont have the money to buy all types of stuff so thought maybe a straight razer would work because that I already have? Mmmmmm
