Beginners (cyclist, motorcyclist, etc), kids, low income family, dash cam, holiday memories, additional footage... its an ENTRY level camera thats cheap. Definitely has its place in the market.
erm... I see a a reason... that you can't afford nearly £400 for a GoPro!!!! To be honest, the picture quality was very good, and the sound, from a built in microphone wasn't bad at all. Are you sponsored by GoPro because this didn't feel like a fair review at all. It's a £40 squid camera! You have to bear that in mind that it's £250 cheaper than a gopro. But for the price, and if you are using it to record recreational activities and NOT making TH-cam videos, this looks perfect. Most users, no doubt, aren't video professionals. If they just want to record a cycle, bike, kayaking, adventure sports activity for their Facebook page then lets be honest.... THEY DON'T NEED TO SPEND £400 for full HD video to do that!
@@christiantamminen8998 Agreed, gopro is pricey. I can't imagine gopro sponsoring such a pitiful channel. I dig the crosstour camera. I think cool things can be done with it for sure!!
The camera may not be very good, but your review was far worse. You seem to forget immediately the main purpose of review, value to performance ratio. It's far more important than whether or not it mimics the Go-Pro's performance, it's stupid to even expect that. Obvious confirmation bias before even opening the box, add in your bad acting, and forced clumsiness to make it seems worse than it is, and you've got a pointless review. I would have liked to see you try to get the best performance out of it as possible, and give some consideration as to what uses it could serve other than expecting it to perform like a Go-Pro. You put zero thought into this, and I won't be returning to your channel. Not everyone can afford, or even needs a GO-Pro, Not everyone needs optimum performance, it's a great thing to have cheaper alternatives. This would be a great little first 4k cam for kids wanting to show off skate tricks, or to take into situations where you wouldn't want to chance losing or damaging a much more expensive cam. Every cam requires lighting changes, had you given it a chance I'm sure that acceptable performance could have been found with some effort, then compare that to how little it costs you to get that outcome. (edit-I do not own one of these, I just fucking hate biased reviews, and lazy bullshit like this)
Hi. May I ask if there’s an alternative to using the helmet mount (that’s included)? Have you tried sticking it with a 3M tape or something? Looking for a quick on/quick off kinda solution.. :)
Very unfair review. Got one of these for underwater in the Caribbean, worked flawlessly. It also goes on my bike handlebars so didn’t want anything expensive. You hated it before you even took it out. The instructions you called toilet paper you should’ve read before making comments. I recommend people watch other reviews as you probably work for GoPro
I just bought the Crosstour 9500 not the cheapest but my judgement I would not buy a camera with out EIS in 2020. I simply cannot justify buying a Go-pro and i cannot touch one in sub 100$ range. And what i can see the Go-pro do not have a view finder. For a cheap occasional user like my self the cheap camera with EIS to take occasional video and family / vacation photo a go-pro is just over priced
With all do respect, you were way too obvious from the beginning with what the message i.e. review was going to be, you said not to buy it before you turned it on and the shaking of the camera and referring to stabilization was well for lack of a better word ridiculous. Come on do you really need to compare a $40 cam to a $400 unless you are impressed with the $40 camera? I have a couple and they work great for going where I don't want my Go Pro going.
Hi, there is an adapter that allows you to use the external microphone (which I have in the helmet for shooting on the bike), and a charging cable, to connect my action cam to a power bank so that it recharges and I can take advantage of the microphone at the same time?
Went into this sceptical, whenever a video has more negative than positive reviews. About as impartial as a Screen Rant article 😂 better luck next time
@@TheIdeaofTechnology 6!!!!!! For £40 that is a really good rating! If it is trash it would be well below 5. Your video's are really well made though. Please just remember that there are many people that just can't afford expensive equipment, and the focus of any review should be from a Professional and Amateur perspective.
I accidentally left my crosstour action camera in the rain, without the waterproof case, and some water got inside it, behind the lens, clouding the lens. Does anyone know how to fix that? I kept it near a heater, hoping that would evaporate it, but it didn't. I wonder if I should do that for a longer time. I also stuck it in a box with a little dehumidifying thing that people put in their closet to keep things dry, but that didn't work either. Ideas?
I've used those same methods in the past but putting it in a bag of uncooked rice overnight is always a winner option....but since it's been a week and the moisture has probably evaporated and done it's damage, best advice is get a new knockoff camera 😭😂
Interestingly the reviews on Amazon are very positive and as many have said this guy is ultra critical, you cont compare a device this budget to a far more expensive thing, it's like comparing a fiesta to a Porsche, both do the same thing but one is luxury!!
I’d rather buy 50 of these than watch another review from this channel. Jesus that was painful. Camera is fully capable. Is it not the best quality? Obviously, it’s $50...
Totally biased review. I’ve used this camera for over a year and for the price it’s a decent camera. The video play back on a pc is very good quality. The review doesn’t even show this. Very poor review.
Well dude, please never do a review like that again. How can you compare so different price range cameras? Give up watching at the very first minute, sorry!
Gosh what a waste of 7.44mins Why did you buy it ? You clearly didn't like from the start. Your compering a Bentley with people with more money 💰 then sense and a cheap run around. Both will get you there in there own way.
Do you see a reason for buying such a cheap action cam?
Beginners (cyclist, motorcyclist, etc), kids, low income family, dash cam, holiday memories, additional footage... its an ENTRY level camera thats cheap. Definitely has its place in the market.
Very bad review you should be ashamed the video quality was amazing with the cheap camera
Do you see any reason for such a stupid video?

I can see by your review your there to knock the camera...instead of putting a genuine review its the worst review ever..
Exactly.

I own several of these, both in 1080P, and 4K, and they work way better than he makes them out to.
If I'm cycling or riding an escooter having this strapped to my chest to capture moments is good enough

Even before you unbox it’s pretty clear that you are not going to like it 😄 paid unboxing

I also bought this type & it works just fine for my needs.
I feel it wasn't a fair review I thought the video quality wasn't that all that bad for the price
Yeah

I had the cheap one for 3 years and it's not that bad. I don't understand why u need to bully the camera so much.
7 minutes of "it doesn't look good" when it actually does, considering the price...
This tool was in negative review mode before he even tried it out. A most useless review. Smarten up!!!
It's good for a dash cam. I have this and its pretty decent. For the price you cant beat it.
Hi, there is an adapter that allows you to use the external microphone (which I have in the helmet for shooting on the bike), and a charging cable, to connect my action cam to a power bank so that it recharges and I can take advantage of the microphone at the same time?
I use the ct9500
Oh man dude, Awkward!! I am confident the Crosstour is better than the rest of this Channel.
ha agreed!
Why did you bother when you had given up before you started?
Can we recording in charge ?
Went into this sceptical, whenever a video has more negative than positive reviews. About as impartial as a Screen Rant article 😂 better luck next time
Wasnt a fair test, it's a pretty good camera for the price
So out of 10 what do you give it?

Rice rice baby to go, to go 🍚 👶🏻

Does it have a zoom lens
No. Only digital zoom.
Doesn’t look bad
Looks and feels cheap yeah it will do you said yourself its the cheapest action camera you could find
Ya know, I have a crosstour go pro that is a newer version and for you to say the QUALITY IS BAD... I am depressed
Thats the worst, most biased, waste of time review i've ever seen in my entire life. A 7 year old could have done a much better job.
You don't read the instructions!!
Thank for this terrible review... made me go out and buy this version.
ultra hate comments...........but i did like the crosstour cam.
I’d rather buy 50 of these than watch another review from this channel. Jesus that was painful. Camera is fully capable. Is it not the best quality? Obviously, it’s $50...
Better than an overpriced gopro
thanks very helpful
critic vid sponsored by gopro - and unsub
Such a poor review. You have really ‘over-egged’ your bias.
I actually think it's decent quality, not a fair review man
Totally biased review. I’ve used this camera for over a year and for the price it’s a decent camera. The video play back on a pc is very good quality.

this video Is funny to watch typical clout chaser
Well dude, please never do a review like that again. How can you compare so different price range cameras? Give up watching at the very first minute, sorry!
Fair play pls ,,
Gosh what a waste of 7.44mins
Why did you buy it ?
You clearly didn't like from the start.
Your compering a Bentley with people with more money 💰 then sense and a cheap run around. Both will get you there in there own way.
You are reviewing an action camera your brain gone into a glitch, stuck in your expensive for nothing GoPro?
This review sounds very snobbish. Just picking on the cheap item instead of doing an honest review.
Content in this video is not good.
the problem is you brain. why did you compare to go pro. you have no sense at all
Totally wasted my time
