Lol. You fast forward through the most difficult parts of the process. How did you get the battery caddie out? Also, how did you get to the positive terminal? I can't get to mine.
To remove that caddy, there are clips to unlatch, then remove the Negative battery cable, then there's a clip all the way to the back of the caddy to unlatch (I had to use a screwdriver from the top to unlatch it) I used a socket from above to loosen the positive cable, then grabbed the screw with a needle nosed pliers. Here's someone else's video which may be of help to you.. th-cam.com/video/v46lis2gGho/w-d-xo.html
Start to finish, including taping up my finger and going to find the key fob, 90 minutes. Now that I've been through it once, I'd say less than an hour next time. Yep, a telecom guy, once a nerd, always a nerd HAHA
Haha... for the life of me I couldn't figure out what you were asking before haha. Yep, I did... I just haven't had time to do a rereveal video yet. Check out ChopperFetts goodbye to the V-Rod video... it's a good one!!!
Pretty tight quarters so there wasn't much to show there, plus there isn't really a caddy... The battery is in there pretty tight, but wasn't too bad to pull out once the connections were off. Thanks for the view?!
Great job Bob 👏 can't believe you did it without taking rear tire off
Haha.. Yep, isa smartz 🧐 lol
Did one tonight in 25 minutes thanks to watching you, thanks again man!
Great! I need you to come over and do mine next time! 😂
A really great job swapping the batteries out and not having to take off the rear tire. I'm surprised this wasn't a, What's annoying Bob! video! ;)
Oh, it was almost a rant video by the time I got done with the install LOL, but cut all of that out to reduce the time down.
Great job Bob!
Thanks! A scraped finger was worth with the savings! 😉
Great job bob
Thanks Mark! I learned alot from doing it so next time, things 'should' go smoother. lol

Well done sir!
👍🤙❤️🔥
Thank you, thank you very much!
Good work mate. Always like to save a few dollars by doing it myself when possible.
You betcha...I'm all about saving a buck !
Actually Deka makes H.D. batteries but is a East Penn company. So probably the same.
You are correct sir!! Only difference I found was the brass spacers that have to be used with the non HD battery
Nice Grizzly dust filter! Dude, I'm doing this! I'm pissed but I got better things to do.
Actually have 2 of the Grizzlys hanging...they do help with the dust!
Thanks for the content, that job is not consumer friendly
for sure! consumer friendly it ain't. (isn't that the way it is with just about everything nowadays?)
How long did it take all together? And did you get your cross back? Good job Bob can tell you were a telecom guy lol

Does this mean you’re gonna start charging me when I need help on the bike? Nicely done, time to go test the Dyna battery
Oh yeah, you saw the rates on the screen LOL (only thing I won't help you with is busted or frozen screws in the frame HAHA)
Good job Bob 😂 hey Bob do I have to replace the battery I can’t just give it a boost?
🤣 let me know how that goes 🤣
I just went and got a new battery no need to play around with it don’t wanna end up getting stuck somewhere but thanks your video was very helpful
@@modestozapata5865 that's great to hear it helped some!!
Bookmark the page as you'll need to refer to it in 3 years 😉
What a pain in the ass just to replace the battery. Yeah I don't buy my batteries from Harley either. Good job.
Yeah, pulling the rear tire woulda been almost as easy HAHAHA
Didn’t show how to remove the caddy or put it in…

@I ended up pulling the seat. Couldn’t get battery under those rubber tabs. Thanks for the vid.

@@WhatsUpBob unbelievable

I would agree, for someone that's done it before (which was not me) 🤓
