I just switched the battery on my 20 Breakout 114 with the help of your video. I know I saved a good bit of money doing it myself. Thank you! Great, simple video!
Great video. I watched it once in the afternoon, and swapped the old one out for new in less than 20mins. Life saver! Keep up the great content. Chris in the UK 🇬🇧
Great video. So I have a 2018 Breakout 107. After charging my battery over night 10 hrs. I installed the battery but then I get a check engine light. Runs fine. Do I have to reset it ?
I believe it would go away after so many start cycles with out that trouble code being detected. But yeah I would reset it. If it is something real or serious it will come back. Unless it isn't a electric code.
@@howididitgarage. I was told I didn't charge it fully (green light). My battery tender light was still red after 10 hours. And didn't want to wait lol 😆
@@howididitgarage. cheers mate i'll make up some cables with clamps keep the system alive with another battery. Frightened shit out of me first time i did it
Hey man, I got a 107 it looks the same but I’m tryna jump start it, I take off the seat and I can’t see how to jump it, should I just wiggle off that cover unscrew the positive lead and jump to that?
Yes I think. I would recommend getting a long wire, run it from the positive to under the seat for easy jump starts. Then you can hook black/ground to chassis ground.
You really don't have to remove the battery, just the seat. I can't think of a way off the top of my head without removing the seat. I did get a old car battery cable and attached it to my positive and tucked it under the seat with electric tap so I could hook up to that and chassis.
Same for my 2018 Fatboy 114 I just changed it yesterday. You can add a slash Fatboy to your title for more ppl to find this video. I used another vid to put mind in but I was curious about if they differed in the process and watched this one also. Same process and same tools.

Josh thanks it was exactly what I needed! 4 years on my breakout and it just went. H-D said just take your seat off! Yeah write!!!! Great info bro!
Hi mate, my alarm is going off when I disconnect the negative battery terminal. Is there something that sets the bike in workshop mode?

Try this, my bike don’t have a alarm on it.
Thanks mate, I'll give that go.
Your videos are great 👍
Can I reach the terminals to jump it without completely removing the battery? It looks like a mess between the seat and the battery
Think you have to remove the seat at least.

Rubber garmet? I think you meant grommet. Its all good. Thanks for the info.
I've got a 2009 cvo springer and every time I've disconnected the battery to change it the alarm goes off. Why did this breakout not go off?
My break out is not equipped with alarm. it does flash lights when moved with out key phob but no alarm. That is the only explanation I know of.

Nice work brother - was able to do my 2020 fat bob in about an hour and not bad considering I've never done this before.
Excellent video. Very easy to follow. Thank you!

What a drama compared to the 2014 - 2018 models much more involved in the later models.
