Truly, I love Void and I love this game. They stuck to their Vision and made an amazing game with what, compared to others, small resources they had. There is literally no other Game in this Genre right now. We did not get a tactical shooter like it since SWAT. But also, FUCK Void and their stupid ass mission design. They go on and on about how "realistic" it is and then straight up forces you to cheese missions to arrest someone who is actively firing on you on sight and does not surrender most of the times, its just insane. This person would be dead meat in any real life scenario, same with a person who reaches into their fucking pocket and pulls out a smartphone to photograph the 4 SWAT Officers pointing guns and screaming at them, yet the game penalizes you for blasting them. This mission especially is an offender, giant ass mansion full of armed suspects and inbetween them two squishy suspects you are forced to arrest who will run away, shoot you on sight and ignore flashbangs and gas. And finally, they really overdid it with the Action. Its stupid beyond comprehension to make an active school shooter scenario and then put FOUR GUYS in there. Thats just not happening. Same with Streamer - a fake swatting call turns into an all out shootout with bitcoin terrrorists or some shit. Why not have less intense levels where trigger discipline is more important?
first of all while you are right and these guys would get blasted IRL there is basically nothing stopping you from just blasting them in the game too, you just lose points. Its not like if a cop does it IRL they would be let off either they would at best get suspended for just blasting a random civ for doing dumb shit the loss of points is supposed to symbolize you fucking up in a way that would get you suspended or similar IRL. And while it is a little wacky that there is an active shooter situation with so many shooters while normally there are 1 maybe 2 in any situation not related to gang violence that would make a boring ass game. While realism is fun most of the time there has to be a limit to it, for the same reason the medical system in this game is limited to pressing one button and waiting for a bit they have to have more than 1 shooter or it would be boring as fuck. In a world where an entire mission involves breaching into a few either empty rooms or rooms with civs before blasting 1 guy then having to wander through the mission securing the rest of the civs no one would play this game in the active shooter missions since it would be soooooooo boring. The whole point is to build tension at the idea you can be shot from anywhere at any time while dealing with each scenario if there is only 1 shooter it gets rid of all of that since after you handle the first guy the tension is gone. Trigger discipline is already easy as fuck as it is even in a mission like this one where there are two VIP suspects its not very hard to get through it and handle them most of the difficulty comes from the number of spaces and amount of open areas so having the game be more focused on that would ruin it. I play with music off and, there's a mysterious thudding, you can here it on multiple maps, it's most pronounced on this map, at the church, we really need someone to crack the code, all the evidence pieces lead to something.
At 1:20 here Drewski's bragging about his cultist killcount from Overlord when really all he did was cap the cult leader and an invisible humanoid monster. XD But then again, I'd consider that a successful op even if there were two MTF KIAs and one MIA.

One feature I really want for RoN is plate carrier and kit customization so for each loudout you make you can individually customize it even if it’s just visually to yk have the ammo type matching have magazines in certain places that could impact reload times carry more of this kinda grenade or med kit or that and put everything in your gear in certain a dress you want for at least a visual thing but would be even cooler if that could carry some functionality of using equipment and doing actions with certain a items and the amount of the item and maybe like helmet customization so if you turn on a flashlight in your gun you also get a bonus like helmet flashlight if you customize it on you can change the type of comtacs and just in general more in forth and functional customization though what they added was great

@@Phillz91 Yeah I saw those on the page. I may try upping the difficulty to "Some crack - as a treat" since after installing the base mod I was able to easily complete the Greased Palms mission with only one officer even injured.
@@calebblaze1313 I'm glad to see I'm not insane after playing Greased Palms vanilla. I beat that mission and got a B, then tried it with the No Crack mod and did infinitely better. That sorting room is actual ass cancer.
1:03 the funny thing is that i just rewatched the Overlord shortfilm, then i felt like i have to check if Drewski has a new vid out or not, and he makes a reference, so golden bro i just love it :D
Watching you guys play and communicate being a duo is freaking awesome, it gave my chills and a lot of cool tactics to try out with my buddy!
I could have sworn if you look into the effigy/statue's face directly on the top level, there is a massive music cue...
When I did this mission i was staring at it and the music had a massive haunting melody to it...
XD
But then again, I'd consider that a successful op even if there were two MTF KIAs and one MIA.
I hope you get to 2 million subscribers Drewski, you have such an awesome channel and I always appreciate the consistent uploads of quality content.
ever since the new 1.0 update, i have been addicted to seeing content on this game, its just so good
The flashback to SCP Overlord was perfect.
I hope they add your grenade pin flick in game, that shot was amazing in the SCP Overlord video
I can't stop playing this game. The unlocks have added a whole new level of addiction
Okay does anyone else throw on drewski to fall asleep too? Not cuz he’s boring but because his voice is just that soothing???
Id love to see you guys run the coyote map. This one and that one were the two i had trouble with.
I've been stuck inside with a cold for half a week and it was very "pleasant" to hear all the coughing in the video lol
I love how everytime Drewski shoots or takes fire he shakes his mouse showing that this game can really jumpscare you.
dude I cant even make it to this map, I'm stuck on the post office mission, that shits a pain in the ass... but then again, I am playing alone with the AI, the AI officers even opened fire on me once, and started acting like I was a suspect... luckily I had them equipped with non lethal.
Post office is the hardest map imo, especially since you cant kill the FISA dude. After like my 10th attempt I just said fuck it and threw heavy armour, face shields and riot shields on my squad and had them clear all the rooms for me.
The scariest thing about this map is the fps drop from all the fucking trees
Honestly one of the hardest games I've played in a long time. But I love a good challenge.
L gameplay not accurate to atf cult raiding manual, you left civilians alive
😂
💀
💀
💀 chain?
And the dogs.
Not just u fam. Its the fist thing i thought about after seeing the setting (scenery and atmosphere) of the game (1:02)
Out of all the wacky things I thought this game might go into, dianic wicca radicals was not among them.
The art room is spooky because every single picture is AI-generated
"non overkill low power weaponry"
i saw some very blurred out stuff so i can safe to assume someones internals are right now being Externals.
One feature I really want for RoN is plate carrier and kit customization so for each loudout you make you can individually customize it even if it’s just visually to yk have the ammo type matching have magazines in certain places that could impact reload times carry more of this kinda grenade or med kit or that and put everything in your gear in certain a dress you want for at least a visual thing but would be even cooler if that could carry some functionality of using equipment and doing actions with certain a items and the amount of the item and maybe like helmet customization so if you turn on a flashlight in your gun you also get a bonus like helmet flashlight if you customize it on you can change the type of comtacs and just in general more in forth and functional customization though what they added was great
I hate so much that we live in a world you have to blur a video game
On the flip side, it's nice that video games are now so realistic that it has to be blurred.
Mission - Raid a cultist compound.
Drew: Oh no... (Overlord PTSD kicks in)
This map, especially the church area, feels like something out of resident evil and i love it.
Ah, time for my favorite police brutality simulator with Drewski :D
ATF*
Drewski footage is like watching E3 Demos sometimes
fr man, this mission is so scary to play when it is dark out and not having the light turned on in your room (atleast for me)
This game in VR would go crazy
the scp overlord reference at the start was nice, great video Drew!
Edit: now that i've watched more of the video, that overun belltower house feels straight outta overlord
Drewski’s an ATF agent now😭
Don’t worry, you aren’t the only person who got SCP Overlord PTSD from this mission. I was waiting for someone’s throat to explode and find a camera.
Fun fact, if you look at the crown of the carved-in woman in the church you will hear the most blood-curdling and terrifying soundtrack I've ever heard.
when you showed the small "flashback" of the scp overlord, all i could think of was your grenade pin flick
Ready or not needs to make the scp overlord mission
I love how I read the title and I said this will remind me of SCP: Overlord and the fact that Drew said that it reminds him of Overlord is actually pretty funny
21:10 I love this game, but they really need to work on stuff like cultist women being better shots than tier 1 operators and being able to shoot through stone walls.
I recognized that part with the two swat members and yeah same vibe great video love your content dude.
1:12 That was what i was thinking the moment I saw the word "cult" in the thumbnail.
5.56 doesn't overpenetrate when you RIFLE has a 10-12 inch barrel.
Shorter barrel for safety.
DEFINITELY needs raytracing for those cupboards and mirrors
Me and my friends played missions on RoN with just 12 ga buckshot and we quickly found out that if used right are the most over powered short to medium range gun in the game
That SCP you were part of is EXACTLY what I was thinking while playing. Still waiting for the sequel.
Ayy, Overlord reference! Yeah, that was my first connection too, glad to see you still think about that movie. :D
the drawings in red on the walls are straight out of overlord not even kidding
1:05 YES! I THOUGHT SO TOO! I so wish for a RoN mod with some MTF missions, non-euclidian geometry and SCP creatures and items...
I used to casual play ready or not so hard that I know the layout of basically every map. I don't think I could solo all of them if I wanted to, but I think I could duo some of them.
This mission reminded me of another game yknow?
They will look high and they will look low...
This feels like a Combination between SCP: Overlord and the plot of Far Cry 5
reminds me of waco texas...
So around the 11:20 mark. That "shit" is truly, truly terryfing, that would well be my brother in arms last word and I genuinely dk how to deal with it
Lets goooo overlord 2 looks sickkk
the overlord clip fading in at the beginning made me crack up laughing idk why
This definitely reminded me of SCP Overlord
Last time you assaulted a cult compound you were working with the SCP foundation.
This level was certainly a weird vibe. Not specifically creepy or spooky, just strange. It makes my skin crawl just thinking about it.
My friend once told me that apparently the civies in this level will run towards suspects to snitch on your location. The thought of it certainly did not help quell my nerves.
Me and my buddy have been on this for two days(couple hours). Hands down my favorite scenario in ready or not.
Really enjoyed the video drewski. Give us more ready or not content
It still rocks me to this day that Drewski is THAT GUY from Overlord.
The only problem I have playing ready or not, is with any amount of adrenaline, anytime I need to respond to something, I always get shaky and flinch
I didn't know Drew was in that SPC film. Neat stuff
U make a good point with scp overlord… the symbols and everything give me those vibes
24:54
"How...how do you work this thing again?"
Typical female cop...
Just DON'T fire your pistol after yelling "TASER, TASER, TASER!" 😂 🤣
This whole map looks like something straight out of re7 with the graphics
So one night they were sleeping and the hive under the house has awakened and they got infected by necrosis and they started to worship the hive, starting the cult
I don’t know much about the lore but I tried my best to
You can order suspects to move to you to take them away from areas covered by other enemy combatants same way you order AI swat just with your mouse on them.
The AI are so broken but mods make it a GREAT game. Resilient officers, relaxed ROE, improved AI/suspects mod and some custom weapons
Drew you gotta bind the point shooting key in the settings. Point shooting with a laze and a shotgun is soo good.
Great job, folks!
Over penetration is a serious issue, so 00 buckshot is the only safe alternative.
"Good Job everybody" He says basically to himself....RIP the homies
Aah yes the Drewski gang antics are back up, New Year, same fun times. 🔥🗿🎉
Time for me to tell the judge that the unauthorized use of deadly force was a “misinput”.
Dude this has got me tense and I’m just watching
Ron was definitely not ready for 1.0 but it still has a lot for newcomers
Lots of things to watch here to learn what to do and what not to do. at 16:58 if you say you're gonna watch rear, watch the fuckin rear.
The one off point “unauthorized use of force”🤣🤣🤣
When I read Ready or Not CULT I instantly thought on the SCP Overlord mini movie
When I went for the S tank on this map it took me almost 100 try’s before finally getting it.
aint no way Drewski is returning to his ways of Epsilon 6
The overlord reference was unexpected but awesome all the same
