Clip taken from the latest JRE episode with Dennis Quaid where the talk about how Hollywood has changed politically over the last few decades. #jre #dennisquaid #hollywood
Love Innerspace. When I was a kid we only had a small selection of VHS tapes for a time, Innerspace was one of them and it got watched a hell of a lot.
Dennis Quaid is absolutely right when he says that this thing CAN get turned around, and go the OTHER way. The methodologies of the ideologies have consequences.
Joe and Dennis are both right wing shills. It can’t be turned around bcuz unlike Trump, the Dems don’t commit blatant crimes. Now sure if a republican administration wants to play tit for tat then they could probably plant evidence and make up shit to validate arresting political opponents. But then that would make the right no better than the Democrats who the right claims to be anti-democratic.
Well he should care, I mean that's kinda the equivalent of being for freedom and being a conservative then acting in a pro communism role, like yea make money I agree but don't promote something you see as evil by playing it in if your against that stuff
Apparently this Reagan film is a less-than-straight-to-DVD piece of garbage. Trying to pass DQ as a young Reagan. John Voight chewing up the screen with abysmal Russian accents. I’m gonna have a double feature with Showgirls when it comes out.
Lets just say for a moment that Trump's actions did not meet the "felony" level based on campaign and election violations. Im not sure that, "did you know that the things he did were misdemeanors," is much of an argument in favor of Trumps moral compass.
First and foremost it's not a question. Its a fact that the 34 charges were in fact misdemeanors. The argument that made them "felonies" was that they were "comitted in the furtherance of another crime" one the DA didn't articulate in the charging document, which is a violation of trumps rights and then the judge errored in allowing the jury to not reach an unanimous verdict as to which underlying crime was commited. It's a great argument in his favor, misdemeanors are small legal errors. Especially when you consider the whole basis of the thing is the idea that Trump mislead New York voters as to his character. Like they some how didn't know the checkered past of one of their major celebs. Its beyond laughable.
I dont think Trumps moral compass is his appeal for Trump voters. He's simply perceived to be outside of the broken system. Imagine someone experiencing road rage. They want to ram their car into another driver who is cutting them off and giving them the finger. Does that person stop and think about how new their car is? No, they ram the person either way. Trumps qualities are not graded on the same curve as other politicians. People simply want to ram the system. I have to say, I get it
@@FrankOlivo-m1e the system is not hypothetical so I'm not sure why you put quotations around that word. Very simply, a representative constitutional republic means that elected officials are beholden to their electors wishes as well as the parameters of the constitution. When voters feel their needs are not met (inflation, foreigners recieving tax dollars, morally questionable changes to law) they're going to act out. Acting out is voting in a person like trump who is hated by the system. Trumps policies are irrelevant (though they were surprisingly competent). A better analogy would be a wife sleeping with her unfaithful husband's friend or brother. She doesn't do it out of attraction to the friend or brother, just to hurt the husband. You bring up an interesting perspective. You believe that the representation of the US citizenry is carrying out the will of the people? They're putting their oath to the constitution before their own desires? I'd have to disagree but I'd love to hear your perspective
What a crock...the main issue is that the conservatives chose a pretty poorly spoken, zero command, racist guy...get off the media crap...all a descent person has to do is listen to Trump speak...no spin by the media needed...but you failed to mention you both think Trump is a moron
Considering that he has had longform public and private conversations with myriad scholars, authors, scientists, politicians, etc... I'll bet he knows and has been exposed to much more than you. What, specifically, did Joe Rogan say here that you thought was naïve or inaccurate, etc. Did you even watch the clip? I would bet $100 that you didn't.
Short Clip of Rogan and Quaid discussing how politics were back in the day vs. now in Hollywood. Like and Subscribe if you enjoy the content!
Quaid's best movie is, "Inner Space". So 80's awesome!
I watched Enemy Mine the other day. It was really interesting, well acted by him and Lois grosset jr. they don’t make stuff like vcr era anymore
Love Innerspace. When I was a kid we only had a small selection of VHS tapes for a time, Innerspace was one of them and it got watched a hell of a lot.
Innerspace and the big easy were the two best 80s movies from Dennis Quaid.

Exactly. Time to move on from Trump.

Quaid is a legend. Such a charismatic actor
I always forget randy quaid is his brother
I've loved him ever since I saw The Right Stuff, he was a brilliant Gordon Cooper. Both the Quaid brothers are class acts.
Randy is a nut bag
Its nice to finally hear JRE admit the media and lawfare against trump is now obvious to even him.
yah its hard to not see it if you're honest with yourself.
Rebels? Is that what we are calling them now?
Thanks dude; God bless.
Wasn’t he in that ultra woke Disney movie last year?
so what?😂 can he not get paid and pay his bills?
Every movie or tv show is woke today

ridiculous
Randy Quaid
He's a legend.
Why are left wingers so weird
Why are these people always whining?
Why are you whining about the whining?
Aww. I feel for you.

Same reason you feel the need to bitch about people bitching
Because they are mafia.
