Came Out of Nowhere! - Shocking Surprise Found Metal Detecting The Field of 1,000 Holes!

- Several years ago we stumbled onto this site and it has become one of our greatest “target rich” locations that we’ve ever metal detected on. We’ve not only pulled hundreds and hundreds of cool items from the ground, but because the farmer deep plows it before each season and churns things up from the depths, it becomes like new again. We’ve gone back countless times over the years and each trip we all leave with pockets full of old tokens, coins, jewelry, kids toys, marbles, skeleton keys, badges, religious items, sterling silverware, along with eyeballing tons of busted old pottery scattered all over the surface. There are no indicators on the old maps as to why so many things are concentrated in this field, so we can only guess that it was a dumping ground for items collected from schools, churches, and local businesses back in the day. Whatever the reason, we’re just happy to have access and look forward to seeing what amazing things will pop up each time we go. So sit back and enjoy our first 2024 detecting trip to what we call, The Field of 1,000 Holes!

Kyle coming out of the woods bit was really funny. Great job.
I literally laughed out loud when i saw it 😁
Absolutely love that America first fob!
I yelled - THAT’S KYLE!!! When he stepped out!!
Maybe he was the victim of an alien abduction, would explain why he still has battery power, 10 min. alien time, 3 yrs. Earth time! 🤔
Nibbler’s intro was fabulous! Welcome back!
Kyle, abducted by Bigfoot. 😂😂😂 Welcome back Kyle.❤
LMAO! You played that off hilariously! That was great.🤣
Nickel Nibbler ? Holy cow 🐮... Welcome back !!!
I really got excited to see an OG back on the team.
The Nibbler is back! Hope you are doing well. Glad to see you have returned
The Nibbler looks amazing for being lost for such a long period of time. Great to see him back. Looking forward to Thursday night.
OHMYGOD THE NICKEL NIBBLER IS BACK 😨😨🙏🙏👍👍😁😁 so good to see you back!! We missed you ☺️
L.F. Grammes & Sons was a company based in Allentown, Pennsylvania that specialized in metalwork equipment and sheet metal products. The company was founded in 1875 and closed in 1960.
Are you kidding me right now? The nickel nibbler is back. That's fantastic to have the original group back together. So happy.
It was the Nibbler before it was Doug or any of the others great to see him back😁
Loved the return of the Nibbler, too funny.
The last item was a manufacturing tag for L. F. Grammes & Sons (not L. T., like Jason said). It was a company that made sheet metal products and metalwork equipment, founded in 1875 and was in business until 1960. The company specialized in intricate designs for the pieces it made and sold, so the item you found literally and figuratively "fits the mold."
Kyle is back, right out of the woods!
Welcome back Kyle. Great silver finds Rich. Nice silver ring Matt. Awesome barber Aaron & Kyle. Cool spoon Doug. Jason - It is still the Alamo - it is a museum. Beautiful eagle fob Doug.
Doug, that was Admiral Farragut’s quote.

To think that for two whole years the Nibbler was in that woods and his finds bag wasn't even full! I'm on the fence with this one! Great episode, had me glued the whole time!
The fob was from a cigar supplier and more than likely a watch fob.
Wow! Ive been watching your old videos and was wondering where the nibbler went! Wonder if the PA Pirate Paul will crawl outta the woods. Now back to the video!😅
When John Paul Jones was a little boy he pointed to the sea he said when I get to be a man a fighting man I'll be I leave my mark on the ocean blue and my name in history when John Paul was a member of the British abratey he killed a sailor on his shop witch was crime you see so he changed his name to jp Jones and moved to amarkee and he fought in the rain he fought in the sun he fought knife and fought with his gun and he help set america free😅😮😮😮😮

John Paul Jones was a revolutionary naval commander
John Paul Jones was a naval leader during the Revolutionary War. His saying was "we have not yet begun to fight" when the British ordered him to surrender.
Farragut during the Civil War said "damn the torpedoes" during the battle of Mobile Bay in Alabama.
Great hunt, love the variety of stuff.
You are correct sir. My mistake.
@@dogtagdoug6751 no worries, just a bit of fun history. Great finds, even the mangled spoon.

Great finds, loved that last fob Doug found. Two 1902 barber dimes, Alamo spoon would have been awesome at one time
Nice to see the nickel nibbler back and what a excellent hunt you all had. Really liked those cool tokens and the fob and the lapel pin and the 1902 barber Kyle found, the mangled sterling silver spoon Doug dug up,
The Nibbler! Where's Musketball Matt? Does anyone know if you can tighten the cam locks on the legend? My lower shaft is a little wobbly.
Wb Kyle and nice hunt guys. I hate to see you all leave the fields
That field has the best relics
Have you ever noticed that all silver pieces tarnish and the reason for that is because it is a self protection that is built into Silver even gold doesn't tarnish like silver, it depends on what is in the soil as to the way that it tarnishes
Saw the American Seal watch fob on an auction site in a group of WWI victory medals/tokens, such neat finds. Thanks for sharing with us all.
The nickel nibbler is back! Hilarious 😂
