Thank you! mine is just like yours it don't have many hours on it at all and it gets smoking hot! I tried to beat the air pump off of it and swap it out with another one. It wont come off I'll put it back together and try your way. Thank you very much you saved me a bunch of time and research.
@@DKSE123 I’m not sure if all compressors have them or not. Cold start valves bleed air from the compressor head during start up reducing start up torque requirements.
I ordered that kit for my central pneumatic pancake compressor . Everything "looks " correct , however bolt spread is off a bit & can't align all the holes . Any ideas ? I'm kinda at a loss & now compressor is torn down. Thx. The bolt hole spread is 1&3/4 inches .
What did you use for a torque spec for cylinder head ? Im thinking like 10-15 ft lbs ? Im pretty sure ill need to do this on my recently purchased central pneumatic pancake compressor ( model 38898). Ill need a fairly quick response. Thx
Great tutorial. I especially appreciated where to find the replacement parts. Thank you for taking the time to record and post this

Thank you. Helped me so much sir!
I was unable to find the "cold start valve " , would it be in reguator housing ? Do they all need those?

@@DKSE123 1 3/4 inches = 44 mm, but I don’t see those anywhere. Yours may be 46 mm (1.81 in) instead of 42 mm like mine. Not sure.
Thank You !;@@Wes_Barton

@@DKSE123 I searched extensively and couldn’t find anything. You’re probably right. I just did like a one finger pull on the ratchet.
Thank You , Mate !!
you're putting the tread sealant to high, should be on the first few threads . I would have built the assembly upside down & placed it all on the pump
SO SKIP PUTTING THE BOLTS THE FIRST TIME TO ALIGN....WASTE OF TIME
