How to access samsung smarttv service menu using smart remote

- I had been looking for ways to access the service menu with smart remote on our Q80 for a while but could not find a way. (was having troubles with our tv speakers turning back on by themselves at tv power on while we're using a soundbar)
Today, by accident (!!!) I got into it and I've found the combo that did it, so I thought I'd share ;-)
Perhaps not all of these steps are required but it's what works for me ...
Press menu, go to settings, go to the sound setting and make sure it's set to "tv speaker"
then, while the tv speaker is selected press: MUTE, UP, DOWN, OK (center of directional pad), MUTE
Voila ! you should be in the service menu !!!
REMINDER: Be careful when changing settings here !!!

Thanks. The only video I could find showing how to do it with the new remote. Didn't think my brand new Samsung had the Bluetooth feature. But now it does!

I have the same remote but it doesn't work on my tv. It appears samsung does sometimes change the order in which to press the keys to gain access to this menu.

Hi! does anyone here know how to get the "broadcast" option activated, and get back the "wireless Mac"? I've been trying different options and can't get rid of the problem. I've reset the TV to factory settings at the service mode and still doesn't recover none of the options mentioned above. Thanks in advance for the help

@@SeanBannister No I just got the OEM remote from Amazon, you can always return it after. Which setting are you trying to adjust in the service menu and for which tv?
@@andreyvyasenya to be completely honest I'm not even sure what I want to change, I just installed 3 Samsung TVs on a stage and need to ensure theyre pretty much just locked down to HDMI.
Oh and I installed 2 X 32" The Frame, and a 85 inch BU8000.
@@SeanBannister I see. Was only asking cause I got it to adjust a setting I thought would fix the constant brightening and dimming of the screen in HDR in movie mode on the frame tv but it did not work. Turns out you just switch to standard and adjust the settings to whatever movie mode has or switch to filmmaker mode which doesn’t show the HDR badge but does switch its settings to producer HDR. Sorry not helpful in any way practically from what you said you are trying to do.
How can I do this on BU8500? This does not work for my tv
Please tell me how to increase the sharpness of the image? In game mode, everything is blurry even at 20. At the same time, in PC mode, the sharpness is excessive but without luminance.
The game mode must be ON then when you start your game console the game menu appears automatically. Once you see the game menu on the bottom of your screen press the ⏯ button on the remote control. Press it fast before the game menu disappear automatically.
bought a samsung cu7100 4k hdr tv ive tried everything after connecting an external hard drive and i cant record of the tv im getting no help from the supplier or samsung themself is there anyone who can help i have the tv one month so cant change for some other tv or is there something im not doing to enable recording. You cant get into the service menu with the solar smart remote. Its not possible.
I have it open, but the up down buttons on both remotes don't do anything. I just want to check if the TV has been watched before purchase.

After you get into that menu press 1,2,3,4 then the actual service menu pop up and you can use the remote like normal

Does not work for the Q6F models from 2018 - I have the QN75Q6FN and I can't access the menu with this pattern - Just ordered a service remote from amazon and will test it out with that.

Did NOT work on my UE65NU7400 (software version "T-KTM2DEUC-1341.2, BT-S"). One difference that I see is that when the guy in the video clicks "Up" his TV shows "Bluetooth Speaker", while mine shows "Speaker List".

@@JohnDoe-ed7vw Yeah I had a logitech harmony learning remote and just uploaded to it a samsung tv remote profile - I could not get into the service menu with the smart remote.
@@quasarhi you pay hundreds of dollars for a TV then you need to pay more for extra remote, extra android player to make it work like it should be in the first place

Can you press the volume button (MUTE), followed by the 123 button and select 1, 8, 2 (in this exact order) and then turning on the TV?
(Maybe try pairing your monitor using the SmartThings app and then pressing the Mute, 1, 8, 2, and Power buttons in this exact order?)

One more question, on my other recent Samsung TVs, when entering the Service menu, in the MRT section, there is a setting called "Network Support" where you can turn off the WIFI transmitter. For some reason on the S95, that setting is not available in MRT. Do you or does anyone here know where that setting might be sound on the S95B? (I realize you can turn off wifi in the regular TV settings but that does NOT actually turn off the transmitter--even when TV is off, the TV is transmitting).
Where to find EPA MODE in service menu? To find anapeak...
