Season 1 he needs to be in cause the plot revolves around him and Barry, seasons 2 to 4 prime examples of how the show didn't need him that much, season 5, aside from the stuff that he gets Nora into he's not really essential, season 6 again he wasn't really used like 2 to 4, and from 7 onward his appearances just increased

I hate what the CW did for the show, but I’ll give it to the actors, the fact that they can take it seriously, and tried their best the whole time is impressive. But there’s probably a reason they didn’t choose Grant to play the flash in the movies at the time. Stuff like this has been done before where a character or a version of it is remade in order to avoid confusion among younger audiences.
I LOVED the flash and even though the show sadly started to fall off S5 onwards Grant was the shining light and it’s a real shame, he deserves everything. The FLASH❤️⚡️
I remember Stephen Amell being pissed when Ezra was announced as being the flash for movies, especially only a year after Grant was. Because he felt it took away from Grant who had put in so much work in making the character even more popular than it was. I love how supportive he is of Grant

The fact that the director said CW isn’t high quality and Ezra is the only actor who should play The Flash, when so much of Grant’s acting as the Flash was amazing even in the final season (but especially in the earlier seasons when the writing was great too), AND The Flash movie we got wasn’t even that good anyway really shows what’s not right and unfair here.
Grant was great as the flash, and the occasional adult humor thrown in was good as well, like when he got his date finally and they talked about what if he was to fast at everything. 🤣

I can understand the Nicholas Cage cameo because it's obscure from a movie that never actually happened, with a fun story. Plus it ties in with the other superman versions in the movie.

Honestly i felt like Grant Gustin was unironically a pretty good actor, he was just consistently given a crappy script and every new season got more chaotic and disorganized until it was beyond repair (which was really early on imo, idk how they managed to make so many seasons)

I hate what the CW did for the show, but I’ll give it to the actors, the fact that they can take it seriously, and tried their best the whole time is impressive. But there’s probably a reason they didn’t choose Grant to play the flash in the movies at the time. Stuff like this has been done before where a character or a version of it is remade in order to avoid confusion among younger audiences.
Given the pretty abysmal box office for this movie, I'd bet nobody will be playing the Flash in a feature film anytime soon!

The fact that the director said CW isn’t high quality and Ezra is the only actor who should play The Flash, when so much of Grant’s acting as the Flash was amazing even in the final season (but especially in the earlier seasons when the writing was great too), AND The Flash movie we got wasn’t even that good anyway really shows what’s not right and unfair here.
